Nereid In The Impervious Vault (Spoiler)

Hi all, so while I was in the last main story mission of Alik’r Desert, called “Restoring the Ansei Wards”, I found a A friendly unnamed Nereid is atop of the stairs leading to the final events in the Impervious Vault. You can’t interact with her, she doesn’t have a name and she’s there just floating in the air. Does any one know if this is related to quest I might have missed? Or is this a bug in the system?

This is my 3rd play through and they have removed her. It was obviously a glitch.
