Does still worth doing Alchemy Writs?

For advanced players with several chars ingame, I wonder if it does still worths doing alchemy daily writs? The rare writ contracts are very low in quantity of writs, in oposite of loosing 3 ingridients, that could be rare. My only motivation would be to receive the Alchemy Crafting Surveyor.

If only look for Alchemy Crafting Surveyor, does it worths to spend all skill points in the Alchemy Skill line?

Appreciate some ideias on that.

It's worth it imo. I have 15 characters doing lvl 50 alchemy writs. You get a fair amount of master writs (which sell for good prices) and good amount of surveys.

As for the skill line, I only use passives directly impacting crafting on my alts. (so passives like second and last ones are never used on alts)

I always craft 7 daily writs, at max tier, per char and I don't think I'm losing ingredients at all by crafting alchemy writs at the max tier, my ingredients stacks keep going up as days go by.

Regarding skill points used on my main char and alts:
- all my chars have "Solvent Proficiency" at rank 8
- all my chars have "Medicinal Use" passive at rank 3
- all my chars have "Chemistry" passive at rank 3
- only my main char has "Laboratory Use" passive
- I usually don't spend points on "Snakeblood" passive
- I usually don't spend points on "Keen Eye" passive, if I do it's because I had enough spare points on the alt char.

I'm aware that learning all the traits of ingredients affects the ratio drop for alchemy master writs but I'm not sure if it affects the drop ratio for survey reports.

I do the daily writs on 9 chars. I don't do the master writs anymore as I get more gold from selling the writs.

When I ran out of mudcrab chitin....I knew that was it for the alchemy writs.

In the rewards for the daily writs you get 3, iirc, of 3 types of alchemical ingredients. So you might use 3 but get 9 back. Plus a chance at master writ and surveys.

The two most expensive reagents are Corn Flower and Columbine. Max level alchemy writs do not use these (other than maybe in the 1 potion/poison a day you need to turn in), as the "turn in 3" item. They are very profitable in terms of building your reserves of the flowers you need to make both tri-pots and spell power pots. These drop from the surveys you get for completing the writs, as well as the other reward you get.

Yes, you will use up Nirnroot, Violet Coprunus and Mudcrab Chitin to do your writs, but you're turning them into other reagents that are usually more valuable.

Yeah...problem is farming for those ingredients...I guess im too lazy for that. Gotta go spend dem TV stones

You can avoid using any really expensive mats to do all the daily alchemy writs. Sell the master writs on your trader. People use them to level alts and will pay a decent amount for them
