Last year they returned old crates in between crate seasons, usually the same month the next DLC came out. That could mean End of February if they do it again. As to which season will return, we can only wait and see.

Why do you care so much about loot boxes? None of them should return. Remove them from the game completely.

I don’t understand why ZOS doesn’t give out a calendar for loot crates to return. All crates you cycle through every year at least once. I never played a game where they are so secretive and random with loot box items.

Loot crates add color and life to a game where armor and colors are dull, bland, and lifeless. Bring on the loot crates!

Well, I've seen some ppl reshade game to eye-burning cartoonish colours, but... bleh. ESO is colourful enough as is. Seen Blackreach? Rimmen? Rarer dyes?
And (in my opinion) a sword is supposed to be coloured like a piece of metal, not some neon pleasure toy from Cyberpunk, and a horse - like a horse, not like Jester's Festival fireworks.
And ZOS could just sell stuff in crown store directly.

    Edit to remove mention

    They could but they don't.
I also only want the simple and immersive stuff from the crates, not the walking eyesore ones. They contain those things aswell. Don't have much else to use my gems, crowns or gold on so I don't mind buying the crates.

I have never purchased a Crate, and don’t really plan to... but I hope Reaper’s Harvest come back at some point, ‘cause I’d like to buy the Whisperweft Gala Wear outfit (I think it is 40 Gems) - coveting it since I did the early Thieves Guild questline.

Looking at the quality of the stuff in the lower tiers of the old crown crates (Wild Hunt e.g.) and comparing that to the newer ones, I think I might have an idea why they don't bring them back. But I know they have from time to time, the Dwemer ones I think have been back a couple of times.

I am old school though - in that, I always craft new armour with a carefully-chosen look in mind for all pieces. That way - I can use the Outfit System to tweak particular pieces for maximum siiiiick looks, yo! Lol.

I wish Crate costumes were broken up into gear slot sections for even more possible combos.

Hmm maybe new motifs. Beginning motifs in this game look horrid due to how they took the cheap route and made it blurry where details go so they didn’t have to make an effort. But, that’s just my opinion.

And the dyes in this game, atleast the majority of them are many shades of vomit :)

What I meant was, it's sad that loot boxes are so sought after. What does that say about the game? Nothin was aimed at you.

I only bought crates a few times when they first came out a few years ago but now I collect Gems from Twitch Drops Oroboros Crates and use them to buy a select few things and that's all I usually want like this season there's almost nothing I want but I will save some gems at least I guess.
