Leveling Soul Magic skill line

I'm cp628, trying to start god of schemes but my soul magic skill line just started lvl 5 but i need to be lvl 6 to start it. Any suggestions on how to get me leveled up one more? I hope i didnt put myself in a bind..

God of Schemes should give you Soul Magic level 6.

The Soul Magic line is only leveled up by doing the Main Quest, and that's the last quest you need to do. It does start differently though, since you need to do a decent amount of the Coldharbour zone story to unlock that quest.

You get Soul Magic rank 6 for completing it. The only way you can level Soul Magic up is by progressing thru the whole Prophet/Molag Bal story quest line.

@VampireLordLover99 You know what happened with the vampire rework. Maybe it's better to leave the skill line as is.

Well, considering the skill line as is isn't used for anything, I don't see how they could potentially make it worse.

But ZoS could find a way lmao

Consuming soul trap is very strong on stamina builds.
A free DoT as in cost magic but scale with stamina and restore stamina then target dies. That is not to love?
