Magplar v magdk

Which has better survivability, now I'm thinking due to procs and dots magplar because of cleanse, or has mag dk got some special *** of its sleeve to deal with that.

I think it might be close enough that individual player skill might enter the equation. Also we might be at a point at least in no cp that a sorc, dk, or nb might seriously consider slotting efficient purge.

Think this has always been true for these two classes. DK is a little better staying alive while on offense, templar is a little better staying alive while on defense.

Ah ok, so that could where I been going wrong on dk, been trying to play it similar to my magplar main and seem to struggle when on back foot,

Currently exploited vampire magplar with nearly zero cost on mistform on decent stats plus procset stack sets is strongest class in this game since release .. question is if u want to play this noob set up for real looser required zero iq zero skill ... there is no question magplar.. if u do not want exploit mist form than magdk

But that build isn't really a Magplar is it. It's a proc-set parasite that happens to use Magplar as a host body, and could probably do better in a number of other host body classes. It's not unique to the class.

Magplar is best thanks to rune exploit since can easily put cost of mist form under 250 with infused cost reduction and than u have free mist form ussually u get magica while u are in mist best clean great heal stromgest spamble great STUN charge and zaan and wrath of elements And u can still have one 5 piece proc set and on back bar edurance with health recovery food pot to have decent health revovery while mist this is sad story i ussualy was anger really at past and fight for balance in this game but i fiorfeit this meta exploit is like play agins full cheater with something like tgm on chest this game start to be just not interesting garbage and soon everyone who will not left the game will be forceed to play this.. really fun future pvp

Magplar is way stronger then magdk. My main is a magdk but I need less effort to win fight with my magplar

I am a real loser, low IQ, super low pvp skilled player. Could you please share with me this set. I would like to do some pvp, but I get literally globaled inside a single stun. Would be nice to kill someone on occasion to help my team.

yes they do. 3x infused mag reduction cost glyphs = 900 mag cost reduction from spells. Be a breton templar and u can mist form forever, even gain magicka while mist formed.

the maain prpblem is focus rune which return maagice even if your are in mist form

uso u can have mist form for free not only fre u actualy gain magica while u are protected by mist form... also with cost recution cost of the rune 1080 Magicka is also king of joke and on the top u can stack proc sets and not even need to sell much of your standard offensice stats so at the end u have stndard storng mag plar.. with stack proc sets who have abulity to answer anuy counter attack with rune and mist form.. realy it is like play agins someone who have this cheat tgm- God Mode ... so in heavy armor with rune which also give u Major Resolve and Major Ward if u also use on back bar endurance healt recovery food/ drink and also use Temporal Guard.. damage wich u take in mist form will change tpo hundres so u can easily tank even group of players and your healt regen will out heal u also will gain magica and keep masive offensive power with zassn an wraht of elemnt best clean so even if some one try to use this tactin agins u just clean and that it..

THIS IS SO STUPID AND NEED HOT FIX ASAP..

I may be missing something but if your running low spell dmg on plar, your heals are terrible, by being a vamp you take a big hit to health regen so not ideal and to get it as cheap as you saying I'm assuming would need to be in stage 4 so loose 100% health regen

I haven't played eso this patch at all, but I used to main magdk for years and have 5 stars on it. The tip I can give you with magdk is to be offensive even when you want to go on the defense. The trick is to learn how to properly weave in your defensive skills in your offensive rotation and do it smart. That's why my bars looks weird since I don't have defense and buffs on back bar which a lot of people have, I mix offensive and defensive skills on both bars depending on how I weave in the defensive skills in my offensive rotation and since 2 of magdks best heals are both attacks you need to stay aggressive.

Correct! This guy just has a vendetta against mistform users since he can't do a sustained DPS rotation against a person in mistform who anyone can outrun by just sprinting. And if the mistform user is using the Ring of the Wild Hunt to actually outrun people they'll hit with even less damage and have less healing than they would have.

At current skillsetup this combination is like stone vs. scissors. Templar should win against DK just cause of cleanse in most cases.

can someone suggest what Proc sets you would use as a MagPlar? My plan is to be in heavy armour using Malacath and Vatersharn.
i'd rather not be a Vamp just because the Mist form trick is too lame even for me

I know Overwhelming & Grothdarr remains a decent option for Magplars if you want to capitalize on AoE damage.

gosh after months and months playing stam characters I realized how much harder it is to play a MagPlar....i guess I'm not using any exploit build

I run this and I can absolutely melt light/medium armor and scrubs like me.

Proc tank builds though...not even a chance, they decimate me.
Dragonknights though...not even a chance, leap, dizzing swing, dizzing swing, dead...all before I can break free.
Necro seem to blow me up fast too.
Poison spamming bow builds wreck me too, but usually because they are a million miles away hiding behind a pillar.

If I was making a new pvp toon, probably magdk. I think they are tankier and hit harder than magplar right now. Im on a heavy armor magplar because light armor combined with bugs and lag there's no chance i have to stay alive. Cauterize with coag is definitely stronger than HtD and ritual. Sweeps/jabs has been weird ever since they decided to "adjust" the animation and toppling charge isnt even close to the same level and fossilize. Plus DK get leap and standard, magplar gets crescent sweep which seems to not do anything to anyone.

Dk dragon leap in cyro for me goes like this: i cast it, i make the jump. Nothing else happens. I die in a sea of enemies like a complete tool.
