This game is in by far, without question and without a doubt in the worst place in terms of performance and balance in regards to PvP in its history. Every aspect of PvP is absolutely littered with 35k+ health proc set crutch builds that use max health scaling heals, with what looks like 75% of the population playing some form of werewolf, DK or stamden. The skill gap could actually not be more non existent in this meta, with most players being in no way capable of being able to kill each other in any 1v1 scenario with an open world build. Combine that with the malacath and proc sets and the games combat has become essentially turn based with no one being able to kill anyone without the help of their proc sets. Its just obscene how far the game has fallen in 2 updates that have undone literally years of changes headed in the right direction.
Now with the rate that patches are coming out it seems as though ZOS will turn the servers off long before it becomes worth playing again. Although from observation ZOS couldn’t care less about the loss of any more PvP players when there are an army of questers, role players and PvE players who seem to not care and will buy their buggy, overpriced and boring DLC without question.
