I haven't played ESO since late last spring due to the performance issues. I decided to give the game a try last night to see if things had improved and noticed something I had never run into before. Whenever I teleport via a wayshrine I see a lot of lag as soon as materialize and my ping count shoots up into the 300 - 700 ms range. It will stay at those levels for a minute or two unless I keep my character perfectly still for 10 - 15 seconds then it will drop down to my historical 100 ms or less. It isn't my ISP based on sniffers but appears to be server side. I'm wondering if this is a common occurrence as I try to decide whether it is time to give ESO another more serious whirl in higher activity content such as dolems and dungeons.
