I think ESO would greatly benefit from letting players change the appearance of pet and transformation skills.
Both the players and developers.
CLASS SUMMONS
Let player change the appearance of their class pets.
Not only do sorcerer pets need some updates textures but it’d be great for players to customize their summonable pets to better fit their characters.
ZOS can make the options thematically in-line with the class. So as an example a Warden wouldn’t get Fire Atronach skin for the bear but they could use the frost atronach bear skin.
Sorcerer
Sorcerers get a variety of daedric themed pet options. Like a Watcher option for the Winged Twilight.
Why not more Storm Atronach appearance options? Like the Bear, Wolf, Lion, Horse?
Warden
Wardens get more choices for their Guardian summon. Such as Bears, Wolves, Lions, Guar, Crocodiles, Spiders, etc. along with their Frost and Nature themed skins.
As someone who plays an Argonian Warden, the Lizard Bear or Frost Guar Atronach would be more thematically in-line for my character.
Necromancer
Necromancers have dark/undead themed options for ability appearances.
Like Beast race skeletons, Void color themes, Zombie appearances,
Why not do a “Zombie” Variant of the Bone Goliath - or a “Void” skin. I think people would like that.
Why not Halloween Pumpkin-Head themed skeletons?
Transformation skins
In Collections; add different obtainable skins for Transformations like Werewolves, Vampires, and the Necromancer Bone Goliath.
There are more types of were-beasts like Bears, Boars, Lions, and Crocodiles. How about different color options.
Heck why not undead variations of them?
I am sure that players would like to change up their Blood Scion Appearance. Like the Void Corruption we see in Markarth.
Or maybe Argonian or Khajiit heads (tbf though in the lore, the Vampire Lord form is a daedric creature that an individual has access to, not a half-man/half-beast. But I think Argonian & Khajiit Players would like the choice to change the Head)
EDIT
This would be restricted to PvE as to prevent confusion in PvP.
Conclusion
This can be easily monetized. Meaning that the developers would certainly get their money back for the investment in this system - and players will get way more choices. Win-Win.
