UI Crashes After Excavation [PC]

Maybe 1 in 3 digs, UI elements vanish upon completing an antiquities dig. Skills bar, stat bars, everything is gone. Can't even access the menus to log out and have to manually close ESO from my desktop. Also, after using the 3x3 tool, I frequently get a dialog message asking me to confirm that I want to exit the excavation. This second issue is just annoying but the first is a real problem as it requires fully closing and restarting ESO. Anyone else have this problem? Any workarounds?
