New Life Charity Writs

Have been saving these to do on my crafter since the event started, just got to completing them now and some of them really need to be reevaluated before next year because completing them was painful mat wise. Not all of them were bad, had ones that were like craft one table or craft 12 of a food. The ones like craft 12 crates or stretchers though really hurt to complete. Which brings up another point, in the writ before you accept it needs to tell you the amount you are crafting. They all say "craft a [blank]", "a" would imply one. I would be fine with crafting like 1 of a furniture item but when you accept and it turns out to be 12 with each costing 2 heartwood that is a big difference. You only find out after youve accepted.

Anyone else feel the same? Like 24 heartwood for 1 voucher and a random style page seems like a bad deal. Especially when at the same time a got very reasonable writs like craft 1 table or 12 of a food also for 1 voucher and a random style page.

If you already know the recipe for the item, you can check the materials at the craft station before you start the writ though.

Although I agree that the heartwood writs were...annoying...they are for charity after all, and the event is to be in the spirit of giving lol

You can check to see how much each craft costs but you cant check how many you have to craft for the writ. It could be craft 1 of an item or craft 12 or an item and you have no clue until you have accepted.

Yes, I agree. It's ridiculous. They might as well rename this festival the Heart Wood festival.

Also wondering if the Imperial Writ turn in NPC will still be there to accept writs after the event ends... so I know if I should turn them into pages, or stash the doc.

I won't touch these types of writs that ask for multiple crafted items using up heartwood. Save the trees !! When the original New Life Charitable Writs were introduced, it was addressed in a PTS patch note PTS Patch Notes v4.3.0

    Writs
Fixed an issue where some Charity Writ items would say that you had to craft a dozen furnishings, when the quest only asked you to craft a single item.

I would ask that consideration will be made with regards to these new types of New Life Writs that have been recently introduced that require the same similar ridiculous quantity of heartwood and supplies.

I think it just needs to change so that the Imperial writs can also be dropped off at the usual capital city's drop off area, instead of having to travel back to the New Life tent for drop offs. It was definitely horrendous first time doing multiple Imperial writ that you haven't done before and having to wayshrine travel back and forth to the New Life tent repeatedly. However, it became easier once you've learn a writ and was able to preempt craft all writs at the craft area, and then turn all in at the same time at the New Life tent without having to travel back and forth; unless you miss calculate the amount needed for a writ or two. Well, the amount of 12 can also be reduced to 3 or something; that would be nice as well.
