Tormentor buff is additive and not multiplied (for me it was giving 31% in the end), after testing for a bit I came to the conclusion that casting it has the same damage as elemental weapon cast (after including orbs and status effect procs) under a 100% uptime daedric prey. Which means casting it makes rotation harder, deals same damage, but hits your sustain.

Essentially a prebuff and never touch skill.

    That is the general consesus since forever. It is not worth using it in combat, only pre buffed.
    And then you have the Necromancer mage with more base damage than the tormentor, much less cost and only one slot required.

    Yeah, not useful no matter how many ways I tried. It also doesn't have any aoe.

    Wish it would have more utility in it. Clanfear could use utility too in comparison to unstable. Clanfear doesn't stun on tail swipe and it's mini taunt doesnt exist in dungeons.
