This is broken (Please fix this)

This shouldn't be happening:
Everything shown shows this system is broken because as shown below I am supposed to be able to craft armor/weapons in the Morag Tong style because I have it unlocked.

Here is the screenshot I took that clearly says this style has been unlocked and collected.

Unlocked styles don't have learn this at the crafting table

Unlocked styles show they're still available to craft in, with or without having the material in your inventory/bank

But it's not broken. You unlocked the outfit style. Not the crafting style. Those are different.

Dear S. Tanner, you bought the outfit style. To make it easier, think "Halloween Costume". Just because you bought the plastic Fallout Power Armor outfit, does NOT mean you actually get the working metal armor with the nuclear power core version.

And before you go there, Mimic Stones will only let you craft styles you learn. Not any and all styles you've never seen a motif page or book for.

I love the sheer ignorance and utter stupidity of people even when they read something that completely shows how it is. Lets try this again boys and girls and see if you can follow the simple equation this time.

    1. First word in the actual description says UNLOCKS - next part of the sentence all Morag Tong styles
Phrase says Unlocks all Morag Tong Styles.

    2. The place this is in is collectables tab
This is an ability I have collected which is why it's listed in the collectables tab.

    3. Put it all together now and say it with me
I have collected the ability to craft ALL Morag Tong Styles

How are both of you completely miss-reading what is written. I just spelled it out
How is this not broken? I literally just outlines exactly how it is written which means there is a serious problem.

Dear, you seem to be missing the words OUTFIT STYLES.

Unlocks all Morag Tong OUTFIT STYLES.

You have collected all Morag Tong OUTFIT STYLES.

Some kind of aphasia maybe, where you can't see the word OUTFIT?

If you collected the Morag Tong STYLE, you would have seen Crafting Motif 30: Morag Tong Style

You outlined "Unlocks all Morag Tong OUTFIT style". As others have pointed out, it's different than the MOTIF. Why are you so freaking toxic here towards people that have been playing for YEARS and are just trying to help you understand the game? 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yet again, the word after Tong is what? Come on, you can read it. Starts with O, then U, then T, then an F, then an I, and finally ends with a T. OUTFIT. That means its a COSTUME, not the actual gear.

Make it as large as you want, the word OUTFIT is there.

Are you familiar with the Outfit Station? Usually found near the crafting areas in all major cities.

Visit one and search for ‘Morag Tong’. I bet you’ll be in for a surprise:)

Ok at this point people are now just manipulating the wording of what it says. So let me turn the focus back on the problem.

Even though it says you've unlocked it, which means there is no other way to apply this, wear this, or whatever term you want to use.

THIS IS BROKEN BECAUSE IT IS NOT USABLE AT ALL. There is no possible way listed in this mess at all to get yourself to have this style, look, armor visual, cosmetic, crafted..etc..

Not sure why you keep posting the same thing and keep moving it.

But visit an Outfit Station, not a Crafting Station.

See the difference in the words? Outfit and Crafting are two different words and two different stations.

    Oh dear. Let's see.

    Outfits are costumes.

Costumes are not made at crafting stations because they are outfits, not real gear.

Go to an OUTFIT STATION, and try to make an OUTFIT.

After all, the outfit station is where you go to use this look, armor visual, cosmetic outfit styles you've collected. Crafting stations are where you make the actual gear, that you need to learn the motifs to make.

    ^^This.
Menu>Journal>Achievements>Morrowind. Scroll down to see Morag Tong motifs collected. So easy. Show us a pic of that before you keep being so rude. I also have the outfit styles unlocked, but if I look at the MOTIFS for Morag Tong I have collected, I have three that I have learned.

If you want to use what you've already got go to an outfit station and use those styles as part of an outfit for your character. They are, as you've shown, already unlocked and will be free to apply (meaning it will not cost you any gold to use those pieces).

If you want to craft armour and weapons which use that style you need to get the crafting motifs. You can get them as rare rewards from daily quests given by Beleru Omoril and Traylan Omoril in Morrowind, or you can buy them from guild traders or directly from other players.

Even though you have the outfit style unlocked you will be able to buy and use the motifs because, as various people have explained, outfits and motifs are seperate things and can be unlocked seperately even if the name and appearence is the same.

    To head off another pointless thread;

    OUTFIT styles are account-wide.

Motifs are learned by whichever character uses them. So don't use a motif on a character that is not your main crafter, because your main crafter will NOT automatically learn the style.

OP, with this trend I've seen of you yelling about how broken things are without first asking politely for help understanding how things work, I don't think you're going to enjoy this game very much. There is So. Much. To. Learn. I'm guessing you're really, really new because there are a ton of incredible, helpful people in this community and it does you no good to call people stupid and insult their suggestions.

It’s not broken. You just said yourself you a don’t understand what everyone is explaining you in this thread so instead you just rant.

Log into the game. Find an outfit station. Interact with said outfit station and it will all become clear.

    You mean a Clothier.

If you all want to argue about the definition of OUTFIT, cherry picking how YOU want that word to apply, then go ahead, but I'm done talking to people, about this, no one can be this naive.

It's now becomes apparent that the entire collectables section is total garbage because it doesn't do anything it says it does. I'm not sure what all this horseshit is about costumes, outfits, styles and whatever other *** term or word people want to cram into this but nowhere is this mentioned in the game. Don't even know what people are saying by OUTFIT station as if it's something different than the Clothier it's not. If there was a separate station in the game it would have been told to the player.
Stop saying OUTFIT because it's not a thing, just say Clothier.

    I'll just close with this,
Fix this because it's broken. As of now even learning the Morag tong style still doesn't let you craft in that style which means without a cheat or mod, no one is in the game with anything that looks like Morag Tong.

Yep just look at all the people lying, changing what words mean, acherry picking things out of a definition, and then cherry picking their applications.

I mean people keep saying OUTFIT station instead of clothier. really! Why are people trying to pretend they are 2 different things. I've never once heard or any such word as OUTFIT station anywhere in the game, It's only been mentioned to me as a player as the word CLOTHIER.

Not sure how people took the word outfit, and started applying it in the game to Clothier, but that is exactly what they did. So this isn't about me anymore, this is about people are talking total nonsense
