Christmas Stuff for housing

Hi housing folks.

Is the only way to get Christmas trees etc the New Life crown pack?

As honnestly 3200 even on sale for really just a few wreaths and trees that I need seems wild.

Want to spruce up a guild hall tho for a dueling contest

Basically, anything else that's craft able?

Kind of strange that the New Life Festival doesn't include New Life decorations in the rewards, isn't it? It seems to be somewhere between a missed opportunity and a purchase-forcing decision.

I would say create your own decorations because frankly the new life bundle is terrible. The only nice thing in there related to christmas is the ouroboros wreath. The tree is terrible!

Hi, yeah was my thoughts from the preview. Tree and ouroborous was all that interested in, maybe snowman.

Frustrating, to be fair even a frosted tree would do me and I'll make a Forrest. I just don't do housing so have no clue what's available

There's very style empty Christmas trees in eso. I think I went around and found 3-4 while one just is perfect. I will check in game maybe later what it's called.

You have choices.. you can:
A - Ignore them
B - Buy them with crowns
C - Buy them with gold

No one is forcing anything

The tree in the pack is ok and comes with its own lights and stuff but its very small. You could instead get a bigger pine tree and decorate it yourself, my brother did one in his huge house and it looked great.

You can buy just the tree with crowns in the housing editor, or at least you could last year. That's what I did rather than pay for the whole pack.

I'm pretty sure you can just get the wreath and other items individually, too.

Well, Zenimax Online employs some amazingly talented people, so I highly doubt it a "missed opportunity". Your second guess has a greater chance of being correct.

You can buy the tree separately in the housing editor, I didn't realise it's 👑1,200
I bought the whole pack last year or the year before and I topped my new life tree with a Blessing Stone and surrounded it with Jester's Coffers

Like everyone else said, OP, you can buy them separately.

But I encourage you to buy trees from either Auridon (Skywatch), the reach, or solitude furnishing vendors with gold and decorate them yourself. They are so gorgeous if you do!

You could get a regular Tree and place candles or other lighting assets into it.

IMO that pack is to sell people the fireplace log cooking station, that housing has been asking for forever, and costs 2700 crowns on its own from the housing editor and make it seem like a bargain...

The premade New Life tree is too weak for me. I make my own with the Skyrim pine trees. But yeah I really wish the smaller decorations like wreaths and stuff were purchaseable with gold (not from crown sellers). Those are difficult to make from scratch without them looking off and taking up too many slots
