/stuck doesn't work in combat?

I was going through Blackheart Haven for the pledge and got stuck in combat sometime before the final boss. The final boss area is accessed through a door which I was unable to interact with, despite my other group members going through as usual.

I tried sneaking/waiting, then thought of using the /stuck command since I was duly stuck. Unfortunately it seems you cannot use the /stuck command in combat? What if you're stuck in combat???

Anyways there is a bridge over a chasm before the door so fortunately I could kill myself and then respawn out of combat at the wayshrine.
