error 307: booted from server, some insight

today i've received this error for the first time in years of playing, and twice within two hours. EDIT: five times.
today i did something that i haven't done before- sending a significant volume of data regarding character progress.

specifically, i've leveled the provisioning skill line from 1 to 50 for 11 characters,
then began systematically discovering every alchemy reagent trait on all characters.
i got booted midway through for the first one, and now the second one as well.
i imagine this whole process generated an unusually high volume of achievement data for my account.

perhaps this "overload" of character progress data & achievements is directly linked to error 307.
figured it could be useful insight for resolving the underlying issue.

Ya, it happens all the time. There are a couple of different error codes you might see when getting disconnected, but as far as I can tell there is no single action that causes this. I get it when parsing, trials, pvp, etc. You are probably right about the “overload” of information going to/from the server, and it just says “bye bye” to your character.

fifth time, while switching to another char:
"account already logged in"
then placed in queue
then booted


there was a slight "delay" between my third and fourth boots;
as the EU primetime winded down and transitioned into late night.
if such a system exists without players knoweldge:
perhaps i got booted less while the server was still "primed" for "primetime",
and started getting booted again after the server was no longer operating with a "primetime optimized ruleset"?
pure speculation, though. probably all bogus, but still worth mentioing, in case any ZOS network engineer will read this.

i've managed to finish my plans without further boots.
woulda been nice to have no boots, as that cost me at least an hour waiting around for.
oh well.

I've been getting kicked from server all day. Yesterday was fine. Seems like others are experiencing this as well.

I'm not sure, but i think we are not talking about the normal disconnects. You really get kicked by the server. Actively. The message is always the same "You got kicked from the server". When you try to login again, it wont let you for at least 5 minutes, saying "You have been removed from this server". (There are different cases where you got a network timeout or dc, and get the "already logged in" message, but thats a different one where the server didnt realize that you are gone and you need to wait until you gets logged out by the game.)

I had the feeling, it always happens if you get a big amount of "points" (AP, XP and/or Inspiration) while not moving/changing position at all.
So i think i might be some kind of false bot alert script, which kicks you and prevent you to login for some time.

You can even reproduce the situation. Use 150% XP Ambrosia + 100% XP event-buff drink and return 50 (?, maybe even much less) pre-crafted enchauntment master writs pretty fast, while not changing position at all (activate writ, talk to him to turn in, close dialogue, repeat)... bye bye

Having the same problem with alcamy traits 5 times today never had this problem tell today very annoying guess ill wait to do my provisioning would not be so bad if I dident have to restart computer to get bsck on geese what a mess

This 'Booted from server' error 307 keeps occurring. I was leveling Alchemy on one of my alts about 3 days ago, got kicked to the login screen with this error, could not login for ~15 mins due to 'an unexpected internal error' and eventually called it a night for ESO. Today I was leveling Alchemy for another alt, was pretty sure it would reoccur, and guess what, same thing happens.

This basically locks you out of the game just for attempting to quickly level up a profession and, judging from the forums and Reddit, has been happening for months despite all the patches. Just searching for '307' brings up dozens of threads. Can this be looked into please?

Booted from the server seems to be when I am doing crafting. I think the anti-bot software on the server does it when it thinks a bot is running.

I just have it happen to me again a second ago. I was breaking down some wood items.
