Indrik Feathers

Can I get some kind of answer if the next event will come up with some type of feathers. This is helpful so we can know if we need to buy them now or if there is going to be something different with the next event. We don't want to start buying them if they aren't going to be needed anymore.

They've already said there won't be any more indriks after this event and that the feathers and berries won't be available in future events.

I hope they will be available again at some point, but for now if you've got all the indriks you want from the existing selection there's no need to get more feathers.

Not if they plan to reuse the feathers or make something different happen to the Nascent Indrik. The question really is why can anyone buy the feathers with such a critical currency if the feathers are now deprecated?

In order to get enough Nacsents to complete any evolutions they've missed out on in 2020?

I'm pretty sure that with ZOS proclaiming an end to Indriks, they will not longer use Indrik feathers. I am, however, not prepared to die on this hill

Again that is the point, why can players, the majority who do not watch the forums or current events from ZoS, still buy feathers if they are now useless?

It sets a player up to waste effort and is not respectful at all. Most players will buy the feathers assuming they are still needed unless they get word of mouth. This is a very poor practice on a company's part.

It would be very easy to clarify this, make an official announcement specific to feathers and there is no issue then.

Because the feathers aren't useless until the event is over and you can't earn any more.

Say that you just got enough tickets to make your Crimson Indrik (or any of the other Indrik variations), but you want a nascent one as well. You need to be able to buy the feathers, still.

They'd only be guaranteed useless for someone with all the indriks, including a nascent one.

They haven't said anything about the current feathers being or not being available in future events. The ONLY official statement was the crimson indrik is the last color creation/evolution they are making.

Tag Gina or Jessica, if you want an official answer: but I will point out, they are INDRIK feathers.

Thus, logic dictates they will not be used further after the event.

But yes, I'm one of those people who has all the berries but not all the feathers for the last indrik.

Of course, they could make the available again but it would be nice to have these mounts limited to those who participated in getting them already and never offer them again. It would make them special and give people reason to get whatever the current offerings are when they are being offered.

I say this as I have a mount that is considered special (and desired), was given once, and has never been offered for sale. If Zos were to keep offering things they become less special and less of a big deal.

I'm going to end up with lots of half made indriks at the end of this event. Bit of a shame if they will be sitting in the collections screen for ever more in that half made state.

So, will the berry woman be accepting returns on unused berries and feathers after the event and issuing event ticket refunds for them I wonder?

While they did say this will be the last of the indriks, one of the devs also addressed this on the post announcing the new life event on the website and article discussion page.

Hey all, if you have incomplete Indrik evolutions from 2019 please hang tight for now. While we do not currently have any plans to bring back those berries, there is always a chance that we will do so in the future.

    Some things to consider.

If someone has all 4 feathers, but forgot to remake the nascent indrik after making the crimson one, it would suck when they remembered during the next event only to find that feathers do something else now. Hence we can assume the feathers won't be repurposed for something else.

As someone who has all nine indriks, it is weird I can still buy feathers. Given the choice though, as someone dealing with resetting inventory because filters broke banking, I'd rather they leave feather buying live than risk them locking out players still working on other indricks.

There is one new berry for 10 tickets and an indrick pet for 5. Everything else should drop from gift boxes, including the snowball. Assuming you aren't buying other berries, that leaves you with at least 45 tickets you can earn and only 12 you can carry over. Even if you buy 4 feathers you don't need, that's what 7 wasted tickets? Not a huge deal in the long run.

Somehow I missed a berry for the Icebreath? Iceheart? whatever Indrik even though I have played every day and just now realized that I only have one nascent Indrik so the feathers will hopefully help me catch up.

I’m just doing this for completionism at this point.

This matter is really quite simple and was answered in the first response.

To know whether or not you will be able to complete a given Indryk simply multiply the number of remaining event days by 3 and you will have the maximum amount of freely obtainable feathers that are available to you, of whatever sort. If you require more feathers then you may buy them or else choose to forego the Indryk.

This event seems intended for people who only needed the finishing touches (perhaps one feather) on one or two Indryks to be able to complete them. It is NOT intended for people who missed three cycles of Indryks to be able to parachute in and swoop them all within the space of a single event.

Yeah you used to be able to buy cool furnishings with your New Life tickets, but now it's just useless feathers and berries (for those of us who have every possible Indrik), redundant style pages and pet, and an Indrik pet that you can earn in 2 days. (Does anybody actually use group repair kits? Lol)

With nothing worthwhile to buy with all the available tickets, I'm just playing my regular game. I'm sure the orphans all have nice iPhones and Beats headphone by now from the thousands of gold I've donated every year in Grahtwood. They won't miss me!

Maybe...I'm an *** retentive completionist so I need the nascent as well.

Will spend my tickets on styles and sell the ones that drop, should still have 12 tickets to carry over. Just gonna be pissed if we end up needing the 4 feathers for some other crap.
