Suggestion for a new Glyph ( Glyph of healing ) !

Recently I made my first healer character, I was working on my build and when it came to choosing a glyph I thought if there are so many glyphs that are useful for the damage dealers and the tanks (like hardening) why there is not something good for a healer out there? something like :
Glyph of healing: increase healing by x% for x seconds

Suggestion for a new Glyph ( Glyph of healing ) ! 14 votes

    Since spell damage already increases healing, it's effectively the same thing when you use a weapon damage glyph

    If only a resto skill did damage to proc the enchant, would make things easier... to proc it as a healer you have to LA weave with your resto.

    Doubt it'll see much play given the whole issues with meta healers..

    But its okey.

    Honestly, healers don't need more healing done to be better. I think what would help them most is if they had a glyph that was easy to proc that gave them greater survivability because a dead healer = dead group in hard content.

    Perhaps a glyph that reduced revive times though would be useful?

    No, there is no use for that
    In my opinion it is not needed and will likely cause more issues than it helps.
    First of all, healing done is usually not something you are lacking as a healer. From my experience a lot of your healing is already wasted. I mean, what good would it do if my breath of life healed for 25k instead of 23k when people only have 18k hp anyway?
    Furthermore there are already useful glyphs to use on a healer, mainly the ones that debuff the boss like crusher or shock. And if you are really struggeling with survivability, weakening on the boss is most likey more useful than your heals being a bit stronger.
    Additionally the weapon damage glyph increases your healing already by a noticable amount. And due to how "healing done" modifiers are calcualted, healers will benefit less from them than other players. So if you would add a healing done glyph that is a worthy alternative to the weapon damage glyph on a healer it would need to be somewhere around 10%. Such a strong buff would probably cause issues if used in pvp in combination with heals that don't scale with spell damage, like arctic blast or some of the sorc heals.

    Glyphs for healers:
    Berserk - stronger heals
    Crusher - never trust pug tanks, debuffs boss
    Weakening - debuffs group dmg taken by lowering boss's dmg done.
    Shock - for concussion and off balance
    Mag syphoning - more sustain
    Frost - for wardens for chilled.

    Ok. So. You have so many good glyphs to chose from. What is the issue?
