Other Players Skipping/Lagging -PS4

Like the title says, I see a few people start skipping. Kind of like they’re lagging or something. It’s very weird. Especially their pet. I’ll see them in one place while they run they they disappear for like a split second then see them again. Anyone seeing this or is it me? My connection is great so not sure.

For the last several updates, I’ve seen pets skip by behind their players, they freeze in place for a second and then zip to the next spot and freeze again. I think it started after the update where the devs said they made changes to handle pets differently.

I mostly see players near me suddenly zip across the screen to another spot.

In both of these cases it seems the game is not updating locations often enough or fast enough.

Players are also still black silhouettes for several seconds after you enter an area.
