Inevitable Detonation and Vicious Death Need Changed to Account for Healing Change

Doesn't seem fair that a healer in Cyrodiil can't heal outside their own group or be healed by player not in their group but they can still take damage from skills put on players they are not grouped with. If Inevitable Detonation isn't placed on someone in my group it should have no effect on me no matter how close I am to the targeted player. Same for Vicious Death. Exploding characters shouldn't matter to me at all if those exploding characters are not in my group. Seems fair to me. I can't heal them they shouldn't be able to damage me.

    Let's go further and have siege oils harm only players who are actively using siege weapons. Let's have siege weapons only damage the player they hit first and their group. They shouldn't affect me if I'm just standing nearby.

    The new Zoslogic does create odd situations. That is what happens when making a change that does not make sense.

    That is going off in an unrelated direction. The skills I mention target one player then spread to other players. The siege equipment targets all in a given area much like some ultimates. Elemental Rage being one of the skills that targets an area and not a player. Not the same thing as the skills that target a player then have the effect expand from there.

If you want change inevitqble detenqtiin and viscous death, you might as well change every skill and set in the game that work in similar way.

    Now, I know that inevitable det hits really hard in group stuation with 8m radius espacialy when attacking from stealth , but how hard is it to stay 5m away from another player to avoid viscous death? I mean, you should be prqcticing social distancing even on the imternet.

    They target one player then spread from that one player. Sure the secondary effect are AoE but it doesn't start that way. The point is if I can't heal a faction member they should not be able to damage me. Simple as that.

    I do love a good Proxy Det & VD bomb. <3

    In other words, they are fine and in fact should be buffed. I know, i know.. but yes, that was said unironically even. >:)

    Bomber lifestyle is important, it clears some lag if too many people zerg at one place. Doing it means i care.



    Maybe people should divide their 60+ players zerg into 3 different keeps atleast rather than all sieging at 1 keep with Siegemaster Titles on causing that place to become a crash/disconnect fest.

    And yes, for the same reason i personally liked the healing change to groups only AND the group size limit to 12. Yes, ZOS did well with those changes. Not gonna say the "Change my mind" because not gonna happen.

    Zerglings deserve to be nuked with Deto+VD, working as intended. :)

    you see what your asking for yes they have hurt the way things use to work but then they have been doing that every 6 months or so for years now just get on with it and move forward PD BOMB WITH VD FOR THE WIN STAY ZERGING KIDS THEM AP TICS SURE ARE NICE !!!!!!!!

    That is not what I am asking for. Players from enemy factions can gang up on me and pound me all they want. Any AoE they cast that is an actual AoE and not a skill that targets one player should do damage to me if I am dumb enough to stand in it. I am saying if we are keeping the healing changes then my own faction shouldn't be doing damage to me unless I am grouped with them.
    And yeah I will move on. Did so by retiring my PvP healer and started playing DPS. Kind of boring though so might leave Cyrodiil other than to get the fifty stones each month on several characters.

    I'm asking that things be fair. If I can't heal outside a group then the two skills I mentioned should only apply to group members of the targeted player.

    I agree. In the past, my counterplay to VD was to keep my alliance members healed. Now I can't do that, which means VD has no counterplay. If I can't heal my team, I shouldn't be able to damage my team.
