VKA HM plagued with issues

I've been in a VKA HM prog group for the past few weeks and last night really illuminated just how bad this game currently performs.
Throughout the fight the lag was so bad I couldn't reliably weave LA. In addition to this skills just would not fire. Instead they would queue up, pause forever and then suddenly fire off all at once.
The coup de grace was during execute phase on Lord Falgravn when our tank continued to crash as well as a couple of other players. I think the last crash occurred at around 15% boss health with entire team up and doing damage. We easily could have completed this trial last night but once again the biggest obstacle we faced was ZOS which to my knowledge is undefeated in game. After multiple attempts with crashes we stopped the run.
It is so frustrating to work at something in game only to have the abhorrent performance of said game as the reason for not completing the content.
