Free Play Event Is A Joke

If you sign up for an ESO account through the home page you won't have access to the game, you have to sign-up specifically through the free trial webpage. Why is that even a thing? It's a joke if the game is free to play for a limited time, make it free to play for everyone, don't make it free to play if you sign up through a specific link. Literally no where on the website it is stated that if you sign up through the normal account registration you won't be able to play. My buddy contacted support and hasn't gotten a reply in over 48 hours. He probably won't be able to play until the free play event is over. Only MMO I've ever seen that requires you to sign-up for a free play account and not through the hope page without a warning.

i tried on linux and widows and none of the gamepads would work with the version d/l from zos. thats why. Steam works perfectly every time, linux and windows.Edited by linuxlady on December 8, 2020 7:29PM0 -
