Vampire skill "Unnatural Movement" not working?

It says that if you continuously sprint for 3 seconds you automatically become invisible...
Does this only work at a specific vampire stage?
I can't seem to get it to work. I've tried with my weapon sheathed and unsheathed, tried it from a sneak position... nothing works.
I have done it in the past, but can't remember if I need to do something other than sprint to trigger it.

For a second I thought this was a thread on the issues with the passive. No, you have to be stage 4 for it to work, even says so in the passive itself.

Now for the passive it does take a while for it to turn on in heavy lag, and leaving sprint for even a split second will end the invisibility. You can use jump to get over certain obstacles that would otherwise kick you out, but you have to jump over each one. Very annoying tbh.

It also takes 4 seconds to fully hide you, but it does give you 3 seconds of invisible when sprinting past lantern guards before your kicked out of it. Great for theif characters.
