Cloudrest Crowd-Control: Where's it come from?

Two part question for Cloudrest trial (Summerset).

1. During the fights with the humanoid shades on their own (+0) I get CC'd a lot and have to break free. Especially when the group's struggling with adds. Which of the mob(s) are casting that kind of ability?

2. Assuming the offending mobs are out, is there a broadcast, or a specific phase to look out for the CC? Would snare/immobilize immunity from Shuffle or potions avoid the CC?

Pet peeve for me to get stunned, especially in stacked groups where I can't tell what's flying around the map so well.

If I am reading your post correctly you're asking about CC on the side bosses.

There are lots of CC mechanics that I can think of. The shade of Siroria uses DK talons, which you have to roll dodge or cleanse. There is no indicator it is about to happen, it will just show up. Nocturnal Creepers (the tentacles) start spawning if you kill the bird or the mini boss too quickly before the other one. They send out vines that will snare you and silence you if you take to long to roll dodge out of them. When the gryphon is in the air, when it dives it can send out two lines of small moving AoEs which will stun you if you get hit by them. It also has a big large AoE that it can throw at you (people call it "bowling ball") which will get you knocked back if you don't block.

That's all I can think of for the side bosses. No need to specific skills or potions to avoid the CC, as that space can be used for other things to increase your DPS or help support your group depending on your role.

Yes, the three shades if you fight them separately. Lots of things (can) go on in a fairly small area especially if the adds are allowed to pile up.

This is helpful thanks. I didn't realize the gryphons also left stuns.

It helps me avoid the AOEs when I know which direction they're coming from, when they're around, and what they do besides 'glowy circles bad' :)

It also could be from Relequen's heavy attack, which sends out little shock waves which will hard stun you. Ideally the mini tank should be calling out everytime he does his heavy attack.

It's probably just the bird's aoes when he's in the air though.

A lot of things stun and root in this trial.
    -Any bird aoe when flying
    -Shade of Siroria talons
-Shade of Relequen sparks after Shocking Smash
    -Relequen's cone attack
-Relequen's channel lightning if not interrupted
-Malicious Sphere collision with the player
-Sinister Beads, small orbs in result of Malicious Sphere collision with player or another orb
-Creeper roots. It immobilizes, if not dodged within 1-2s it additionally silences player
-Monstrosity's Corpulence, while it normally one-shots dds if you somehow survive you get stunned
-Hoarfrost slows you to near zero speed when its about to get dropped
    -Z'Maja teleport if not interrupted

Thats all I remember. Could be more.

    Wow that is a lot.

Now I'm curious to see what happens if I take Snow Treaders into nCR...
