Since ZOS started support for Stadia the ESO's performance has not only gone in the toilet , bus has also gone around the U bend.

Hot fixes got to be in the Stadia timeline ie every 2 weeks

Do you know if you have any stadia users, If you do I bet its is less than 1% and for that 1% ZOS has trashed the game.

I agree with you, despite the sarcasm above ^^^
Stadia has made the game worse since its inception. I would like the spaghetti code back on my client where it belongs please

There is at present only an agreement with Microsoft for a purchase next year. Nothing has happened yet.

It has been on downhill spiral way longer than anything related to stadia was launched.

I would argue Stadia's release sped up the process by a large degree.
Comparing Cyrodill performance from January to post Harrowstorms release is insane.

Iam not saying you are wrong on that.

I was just saying that the performance have gone downhill for few years now each month.

There has not been single patch that has actually improved anything.

Hate to break it to you but problems started way before stadia. It started right around when the previous lead combat designer Eric Wrobel left. Although many didn't like him, at least performance was decent, skills didn't change every three months and there certainly wasn't constant blue screens, hangs and crashes. In fact, I don't remember a single crash when he was in charge. Look back in history and you will see that these are problems have been getting worse and worse since then.

I think you may be right. He left just before elsweyr right? It has definetly got worse, but I doubt it is developer decisions making the game worse. Aside from the changing meta's, performance is degrading from greed imo. Changing the functionality of the game to accommodate a new platform seems money motivated.

Yes, he left in Jan 2019, around the same time Elsweyr was announced

Wrobel was propably only developer that took part in player communication and shows. He knew he would get flak for that.

Compared to the current "communication" he was light years ahead of this what is now.

..and yes the game had issues but things were many ways functioning better when he was in charge.
