More and more House Guests?

Apparently I'm foolish, as I thought house guests would be somewhat rare, but they are being released at a hurricane pace. Every house guest takes away the display of my loving mounts.

We need an expansion of the slots, otherwise, we're going to get to the point of not buying any other guests. Additionally, why are mounts and guests the same?

Or is this just leading to a new crown home that has more slots???

I personally only display few of my mounts and pets, and different ones in each home depending on the theme. I do agree with you that the limit should increase though.

I think more houseguests overall is good, especially a variety since not all of them necessarily appeal to everyone.

We can't give you any more slots for your furniture due to "performance limits," but here, buy a bunch of animated NPCs to wander around your unfinished and empty looking mansions.

This is the reason I haven't bought any.
The limit for mounts/pet/houseguests is already too low.

I think it's a good idea to have a range of different house guests available because players will want to use them in different situations. It wouldn't work to use the same NPC for a scholar visiting the Arch-mage's private library, the bar tender in a guild tavern, the guard at the gate of your personal castle, the servant cleaning the castle and so on.

Since most of them come from the crown store there's no exclusivity or prestige to worry about and so it makes sense to give players more options so they can find ones which are right for them.

Having said that I'm sure the pace of new releases will slow down once they've got a good range of options available.

As I suggested, I think in the crown store area, each "houseguest" should come with a slot upgrade to facilitate placing that houseguest.

So if you have a 700 slot home with ESO+ that is currently limited to 10 slots and you buy lets say Biro-dar, then you now have 11 slots for Housguests/Mounts/Non combat pets.

Its not to dissimilar to the pack rat that gives your account 5 additional storage slots per character, or the pig that gives 5 additional slots per character. You get an NPC and functionality. At the prices being charged, there is ZERO reason the houseguest/NPC limit can not be raised by one with each purchase.

I would love more known NPC's, Prince Inrnskar was a step in the right direction, but I would go nuts if they added Mai'q!!!!

Only if he wanders around randomly from room to room and from house to house, and you get an achievement for finding him and interacting with him in all possible rooms and houses.

Honestly? This is the one advantage to me having a heavy furry bias NPC-wise. Cause I only plan on having Khajiit and Argonian houseguests in my homes. So I don't have to worry about getting rid of my pets and mounts! XD Even though there's no Argonian houseguests yet...
