I'm confused. (Heal Others Without Group)

First and Foremost I don't like the change. I mean Healers are supposed to heal Everyone? Least originally. I rarely go group, yet must have to now due to change. I thought we healers are unable to heal/buff non groups. Yet I've read it's possible to heal non group PvPers to? I'm also Restro Templar. My armor I know for sure, no longer heal with me being solo (thanks to this change, Why change healing after 6+years?) So how does one heal being a Templar, solo wise and or in group but still heal everyone? (also read in Comment in one post same with Templar, Warden can heal others without being in group as well. How that work to)

There's a few skills that still work for solo healers. I believe it's Mend Wounds and the skills that have a healing synergy like Blood Altar, IIRC.

Most healing skills are group-only now, so yeah, we have to group up if we want to heal, and even then, we can only heal the 11 other people in our group.

Zos said they made this change because they liked the behavior changes they brought in testing. I assume that is they want more players to group and less run less solo. They did not really explain based on what I have seen.

Personally, as a player who runs ungrouped more than grouped, I love this change. All of my healing skills that have chances to go to other players actually hit just me, which immensely boosts survivability in crowded keep fights. Rapid Regen, Healing Ward, and some class skills, are all now extremely reliable self heals when ungrouped. Which was something that was desperately needed for mag characters without reasonable class heals.

Before on PS both BR & GH all factions 2-3 bar full on average, & 3 bar full with queue on weekends. BR is lucky to have one bar per faction now, including weekends.

This update, for whatever reason ZOS makes up, is going in the wrong direction. It's almost like ZOS is actively killing off their revenue.

Mines the reverse. My healing to myself is terrible. But to others (including formerly NPC's) my heals are way better. Granted it might be my cp arrangement. Eventhough I'm over max CP. Surprisingly I need redo my bars. I know it's a joke. But I'm unable heal the attackers. ;)

    ...........

For the rest I agree with each statements to.

Were you expecting consistency in ESO's PvP?

You'll probably next ask for something unreasonable such as ZOS should consider upgrading its servers still stuck circa 2013.

They like us healers spamming in zone to get an invite? After about 30 minutes of spamming for an invite, I just ran dungeons instead.

Greetings no. I can't complain that lol. Just was trying to figure out healing. This is a new change to all of us healers. Just something we must get used to. Given time though.

    @Kr: I don't like spamming lfgs

@ID: I feel others are more solo. Then again I'm not ZOS, it's just what I see.

I recently heard ZOS made are making a new iP. I don't wish to scare anyone. I don't mean to. Nor trying to. But it Won't surprise me that ESO might be shut down after new IP release. I was referring to your last words. On another hand I've been to both Gray and BR. But BR recently on PS. Just uncertain your EU or NA. Also uncertain 5 or 4? I'm uncertain if it's a merger with PS5/PS4. (guessing so)

    Just a guess...

Healing & group restrictions is a beta test for a upcoming mid size new PvP zone?

The group & healing restrictions don't make sense in the Cyrodiil enviroment.

Healing and group restriction has done nothing to improve performance.

The "behavorial" excuse is not a good enough reason.

    Cross regen spamming isn't it.

    Multi target/AOE damage stays unrestricted.

A change in group size is unnecessary with the healing restrictions.

The many new types of Cyrodiil performance issues remind me of beta stress tests to collect additional data beyond the norm.

One of the best ways to reduce performance problem in one area is to reduce the amount of players in that area.

To reduce the amount of players in that area & keep them in the game is to create another area.

Sewers is not really a popular PvP or PvE map, & ZOS gave it away free...PvE players enjoy the pve side of it, but hate the pvp. PvP players dislike it (except WW packs, NB's, tel var farmers) as you can't fart w/o hitting pve.

BG's are for the players that enjoy small-scale no cp pvp.

So where does that leave us? A new mid-size Cyrodiil-like 12player group pvp map. Alliance war? All out GvG map? No allegiance open pvp zone?

Anet did the same thing with WvWvW, if I remember correctly, with the Edge of the Mists map.

Please stop with your "beta test" allegations, @wolfpaw.

It doesn't add anything of value to the thread conversation.

I start out with a it's a guess, & yes I have seen this before, & yes this is a possibility.

This topic is placed in multiple areas on this forum, & I wont bother rewriting what I think to hear feed back or similar experiences from similar discussions.

No discussions to future combat & content are known unless we're told or work at ZOS. So "allegations", on future skill lines, story, races, classes, global AH, etc...are discussions & hopes.

Running additional tests & gathering data on a live server for future content is common. I would be excited for a new pvp zone map.

Stop pretending to be a forum moderator, those posts contribute nothing of value.

& last, Good Morning to you, seems you could use one.
