Rams dying too fast

Seems like rams are dying very quickly right now. Siege shield doesn't seem to protect them from oil damage at all.
Anyone else noticing this?
Is it because rams aren't part of the group?

All my siege seems to be deteriorating way faster than before.

At least you are buying siege the amount of people I see standing around doing nothing while it seems the say people buy the siege

Somebody tell those rams to stop leeching AP and group up. You can't be a solo ram in a war zone.
