Final Arena Weapons that affect ultimates... will they happen?

Now that we have received the last of the arena weapons that affect basic skills. I want to raise the question of final sets that affect the ultimates. Do you think they should be a thing? And what would you like for them to do. Furthermore, since other arena weapons have a reputation of being rarely used and ultimates have a longer cooldown, I feel that they should offer a large spike in power to offset their waiting times. I have some ideas for the but would like to hear some community ideas too.

<insert arena name>

Perfect Tempest Overflow:

(2 Items) Adds 666 Spell Critical, Elemental Storm will
also activate your class tank line ultimate
but Elemental Storm's cost is increased by 50.
(Your tank line ultimate must be slotted on your
offhand weapon and it only deals 50% damage.)

Perfect Savage Barbarian:

(2 Items) Adds 666 Weapon Critical, Berserker Strike
causes your next Reverse Slash or Cleave used
within 2 seconds to deal 50% additional damage.

Perfect Sundering Mutilation:

(2 Items) Adds 103 Weapon Damage, Lacerate deals
10% additional damage for every Bleed effect on affected
targets.

Perfect Sharpshooting Sensation

(2 Items) Adds 666 Weapon Critical, Rapid Fire's duration
is increased by 2 seconds and you can roll dodge at no
Stamina cost while firing.

Perfect Aggressive Wall

(2 Items) Adds 877 Max Stamina, while Shield Wall is
slotted your Shield Charge, Power Bash and bash attacks
deal 50% additional damage. This bonus is increased to
100% while Shield Wall is activated.

Perfect Replenishing Miracle

(2 Items) Adds 666 Spell Critical, Panacea also restores 2000
Stamina and Magicka to you and your allies every second for its
duration.

Nice ideas apart from most of them being insanely op.

Are they though? Take the top one for example, 300 takes a long time to charge up and you would only get 50% damage from a tank line ultimate. Most arena sets are kind of poo, so I feel ones that affect ultimates need to feel worth it... Although yeah maybe the Sword and Board one is a kind of broken.

    300? Before cost reductions.
You can pop this on magDK and have magma shell make you nigh unkillable while also dishing out huge aoe dmg.
And why tank ultis? They already don't do a ton of dmg.
Also which ulti is a templars tank ultimate?

Or the resto one, 10k Stam and mag back to your entire grp on a cheap ultimate?
Come on now, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see how broken and easily abuse able some of this would be.

Also maybe you don't follow the meta but there are some really busted strong arena weapons out there right now both for pve and pvp.
Vma bow and destro staff have been staple of most pve DD builds forever.
Vma2h, vate 2h and destro, master dw and 2h, and destro just to name a few are all very popular and strong.
Almost all of the brp weapons too.

Nova is the Templar’s class tank ultimate. It’s designed to reduce damage done by enemies, thus protecting the group. The synergy for the Solar Prison morph also stuns mobs, adding crowd control.

It will be insanely hard to balance those between pve and pvp. Ultimates make up only a smaller part of pve combat while most PvP burst combos somehow rely on ultimates.

So either we enter a ultimate meta in PvP or those sets won't be used at all in pve like most asylum/blackrose weapons
class representative for the working class, non-cp, bwb and Trolling

It may happen, but with different designs that presented.

The issue is ultimates are strong. It is why we can't spam them. That makes it more challenging to create skill altering weapons that essentially buff them.

There is another issue I suppose, they can only deal with the weapon line ultimate.

    No.

Hate to shoot you down, but the thing is that the arena sets are sort of there to reward combo gameplay, like cruel flurry affecting DoTs, or to add some flavour and niche gameplay like executioner´s blade. They are also for endgame players, more or less.

Thing is, ultimates are already very powerful and can only be used at large intervals. If you add icing on that death cake, you will wind up with some sort of insta-kill or something that makes someone near invulnerable. Unless you make them undewhelming, which defeats the purpose in the first place. Not saying you can´t do it, but I don´t think it´s a great idea.

But you will probably wind up with a backbar with the most OP ultimate set and then people will use it as a finisher or something.

Nice work you put into it though.
