Light Armour to Gold?

I have everyything Gold except Nerien'eth's Epaulets which are light armour BUT the Nerien'eth's Helm is Heavy and that was capable of going gold.

The Nerien'eth's Epaulets don't even appear in the list when I try to improve them. They are unlocked. They're purple now but I want them gold.

Is there something I don't understand? Do they need to be heavy too like the Helm?

    As long as your trying to improve them at a clothing station it should work

    Make sure you've the right materials to upgrade and are attempting to do so at the correct station.

    Yeah but they should still show up. They just wouldn't have the materials. Most likely as Banana alluded to they are at a Blacksmith station not the Clothing station

    That's what I was referring to with correct station.

    You must be at the wrong station. Heavy armour is upgraded in blacksmith stations, light/medium in clothing stations.

    As has been suggested you are probably at the wrong type of crafting station.
