The problem, simply put. At the time the guild traders change the old guild trader is not removed from being owned by the guild. So if the guild loses all their bids and seeks an open trader to hire they get an error message saying that they already own a trader. This is after the 5 minute cool-down. All guild ownership from the previous week should be purged immediately or it will continue to be a problem.
