undaunted enclaves in chapter zone capitals

especially with the undaunted event coming up, it's quite obvious that it would be a great quality of life change:
to be able to access the undaunted enclave in all chapter zone capitals, including, for example, vivec city and alinor.
it would also serve to spread the player base around more, which is good.
who wouldn't want to have more choice in where they hang out?

and, perhaps most importantly, this would reduce the lag in the capital zones, as there would be less congestion.

they made battlegrounds quarters more accessible, there's no reason not to do this as well.

Not that it would not be a good idea, but it would just be as buggy as hell & break a load of other things!

I am overall indifferent on this proposal. I don’t see how accessibility is currently problematic and do see benefits in having a few central hubs for group activities like dungeons.

Don’t all characters have their alliance capital’s waypoint unlocked from the start? I could be mistaken on that, but by the time you have undaunted unlocked, it should be no problem for you to get there, especially with many players being wonderfully helpful with porting.

I don’t think that spreading out players who want to run pledges is a good thing, especially when there are problems with the group finder. As it is currently, I think it is easier to form groups to run pledge dungeons if you ask in these zones.

Edit: I didn’t realize it was so bad as to create lag as I’ve not run into that even with lots of players at the enclave! In that case I would change my vote to “yes.”

That and master writ turn turn in in more cities. These are the two things I am really missing in Rimmen.

I'm only voting yes because this would hopefully make Grahtwood less congested 😂 Sometimes there are so many players you can't interact with the npcs through them

Yes to putting them in more locations.
every one now is so laggy. It takes me forever to pick up pledges. The lag at the enclaves is worse than cyrodil.

Grahtwood's a disaster area and even Deeshaan which I moved to to get away from the lag is bad in the evening now. It puts too many players in the same place when the game can't handle it. I'm gonnd avoid the whole undaunted thing in part because of that. the other part, ofc, is the dungeon bugs

I wish they were in every zone/province. Hate having to travel to Deshaan or Wayrest to pick up the pledges on multiple characters on that FG1/Spindle1 day. Yes, first world issues, but still.

you're right- i suppose that is the one benefit of having the enclaves so exclusively placed- to more easily find a group.
yet, as you too noticed after, congested zones, with this server performance? unpleasantly laggy for some.

even just that in itself would warrant more enclaves. ZOS seemed concerned with performance, no?

Why would you want to spread it? Zone pugging is a thing, especially when group finder is broken, spreading it makes it impossible to use zone chat for grouping.

    Keep Deshaan populated, ty.

    Craglorn should have one though.

That was my thinking as well, but if it’s causing lag for people, then I think it would be better to add a few more locations unless changes can be made to make existing locations run smoothly for everyone.

    Good point.

Add an enclave to Belkarth and stop after that.

I see no real benefit to having enclaves in each chapter Zone. It’s a quick transit trip either way. Further, for those that are looking for players to fill the group it is better to have fewer locations and concentrate those standing around for a group.

I don't know whether to say yes or no... I do know the alliance capitals are where people group up for dungeons while Craglorn is for trials. Spreading it all out to the other capitals would be good for accessibility but might make it harder to create a premade group, especially if the group finder croaks...

most of us don't think of a load screen as a "quick transit trip".
some of us like being comfortable and efficient.

Me neither, that's why I prefer them in 3 capitals, that way no matter where I am currently (in the middle of nowhere questing, a delve, a dungeon, my house...) when I group for pledges I can teleport to a group member and efficiently walk towards the place I already remember by heart. It is comfortable now. Remembering undaunted locations for 20 places instead of 3(actually 2 nobody uses stormhaven) is much more comfortable and efficient.

They already have the Impresario in every chapter main city, so there shouldn't be an issue with including the Undaunted Enclave and the Master Writ hub in those cities. It doesn't even have to be in the city, just outside the border like they do everywhere else would be just fine!
