Voice chat bug PS4

Every time I enter Cyrodill since the patch yesterday the game keeps trying to enter area chat, and failing, then retrying over and over again in an endless loop with no way out. It’s really annoying.

How do we fix this? It’s in major cities too. That constant bell-resetting noise is maddening.

@revonine @Ruhlf I think the current work around it to try typing /reloadui in the chat window to reset the User interface. That worked a few times for me on PS4.

I had the same problem today. Doing the chat trick did not work. Tried logging off and closing the game completely then going back again, it’s still there. This is very annoying. I wish they add an off switch to puplic voice. I don’t use it anyway. I only chat with groups in dungeons.

The best thing about this bug is that once it pops for you (try to join guild voice chat) it will stay forever. I turned game, changed toons etc and yet I have this one toon that whenever I want to play him, game tries to join voice chat over and over again... The sound drives me mad.
