So 60fps IS coming if you select "performance mode" on the console enhanced edition. My question is, if that's only for next gen, 30 Vs 60 FPS in cyrodiil unfair advantage or no?

There's no way original Xbox will be able to handle 60 frames per second. So it looks like they may be some slight advantage in cyrodiil for next-gen owners. The PC already has players on a wide variety of systems, and that hasn't been an issue for ZOS.
I freaking can't wait for 60 frames per second. My guess is that there will be some graphical improvements in performance mode, just not the level of fidelity mode. But 60 frames per second will be too awesome to pass up.

They haven't used the opportunity to improve the engine at all to add a proper LOD system or anything. They're just moving the sliders up so it looks like the current PC version on high/ultra settings.

This is everything I wanted. Give me the max PC settings and I am amazed. Plus the super fast loading times on Series X I will be more than happy.

Still very happy that we’re getting the enhanced version in June already.

Remember, the game is 7 years old, and an mmo. Best case scenario graphics aren't necessarily going to blow your socks off.

I agree on the age of the game and I know that it’s quite old. I‘m just surprised how much mods and addons can improve ESOs visuals on PC (compared to what the options offered by the game itself can’t).
I do not agree on the second part though. MMORPGs aren’t limited to weaker graphics anymore as Final Fantasy XIV and Black Desert demonstrate. And Final Fantasy XIV‘s base game is even older than ESO.
