Of course I hope the game, including the dungeons, are playable during the Undaunted event.

I bet the group finder will fall flat on its face the minute the event starts, because of overload and lock-ups in their database back-end. Entering a dungeon through the door will most likely still be an option, though. Outside of dungeons, the game will probably be quite playable. Inside of dungeons, well, we'll see.

The game is always "playable" for me-- which is not to say that it's always 100% bug free, just that any bugs don't prevent me from being able to play the game.

For the Undaunted event I've always just walked up to a dungeon entrance and walked in, so any issues with Group Finder did not prevent me from being able to enjoy the event.

I do hope that no one else has any issues which prevent them from enjoying the event. It's no fun when you can't have fun!

No, why should it be unplayable? I rarely experience any bugs or problems and rarely experienced them during previous events (apart from some lag issues).

I highly doubt the entire game will be unplayable during the event. I also don't think group finder will work flawlessly either as it never really has. More than likely we will still see the crashes we have now as well as infinite queues, a lack of tanks, complaining about fake tanks, complaining about zerging and low drop rates with an inability to acquire all the event items.

So basically the same as always.

Gruop finder usually works for me. And during the Undaunted event I usually just solo FG1 anyway. It's quicker and I don't have to deal with all those speedrunning tryhards that come out of the woodwork.

Group finder is already broken and probably will be during the event also, especially under increased load. But you don't need to use the gf. You can form group yourself or solo and just port in. You can get your tickets and loot from normal FG1.

from my memory, every year the past 2 times now the undaunted event was delayed, canceled, extended, or changed to fit their broken game. either dungeon finder was broken, the game crashed endlessly, or whatever. This year will be no different. The undaunted event is always a *** show, which sucks because in theory it's my favorite event in the game because i love this content but it just does not work.

I'm sure I can at least keep doing writs, gathering mats and skillpoints with my crafter under construction. Maybe even casually solo WB and walk into few dungeons.

Why would it be unplayable?You don't have to use dungeon finder like they tried years ago.You can do daily delve if not into dungeons,and share them for multiple rewards.Most non-dlc normal dungeons you can solo or duo.So there's no real reason it should be unplayable.

Given that the event has been put back to 3rd December and the next incremental patch maintenance has been brought forward to tomorrow, with specific reference to "fixes for a number of commonly-occurring game crashes, including those most prevalent in dungeons and Trials, among several other fixes", I suggest we wait and see.
