Antiquities: Issues for Excavation and after

I am working to get the gold Coin lead which means finding all the "Treasure" antiquities to enable it so as you imagine I am doing many leads in succession.
There are 2 things I see,
1. after you use the detonation skill it is very often followed by the "do you want to leave the excavation confirmation pop-up".
2. after completing a blue lead and you press "j" to see the next one there is an announcement flag, the screen controls are gone and you can do nothing. This issue is intermittent but annoying.
The workaround I have for this is to press the windows button, then click the mouse on the game screen. For me at this point i can do a /reloadui in the chat and this gives me full control back.
Note: even though there was an announcement flag there was no visible announcement. maybe as this process failed it messed up the player interactive controls.
