Non Stop Rumble from Controller

“Fun” bug I found (PS4 NA) where for whatever reason your controller starts to gently rumble non stop. Nothing you do can fix it - switching controllers didn’t fix it, bar swapping didn’t fix it, neither did porting to a new instance or reloadui or get me unstuck. I even checked other applications to make sure it wasn’t my PS4 (it wasn’t). Only way I could fix was by completely closing the game. Has happened a few times now.

It might not do anything, but did you try turning off vibration under the options and back on? What exactly caused it to start vibrating?

Yeah I tried that too and it had no effect. And to what caused it? No idea. Each time it’s happened I’ve been chilling in a city or talking to a trader or messing about at the outfit station. It’s damn odd

The only thing that I can think of to cause it happening in town is someone dueling nearby and using meteor. It's really, really annoying. It shouldn't last for forever though, so I don't know. :(

Happened to me a couple times now that you mention it. Think it happened upon a death.

Use AntiMicro instead of in game gamepad mode, it's much better and recognizes all your inputs unlike the eso one.

    Works for every gamepad.

Or the game could just like... not do this? Maybe? If I report the bug in the forums so those that can fix this can? Perhaps? I shouldn’t have to use 3rd party products to make my game work properly on my console. Not to mention I don’t even think something like what you are suggesting is possible to do on a PS4?
