Make Ghostly Embrace a worthwhile stun

It seems that since the empower changes Empowering Grasp has found a niche in PvE for necromancer healers, now it would be great if the other morph, Ghostly Embrace, gets some changes to be useful.
As most people who played magicka necromancer know, there is not a lot of options for a decent stun since the changes to the vampire drain: Totem is okay in group vs group but worthless in 1 vs 1 and against people running away, the less is said about Mesmerize the better and the best of the lot, Flame Clench which means running an inferno staff when the two skills you're expected to use to kill people are AoE (Blastbones and Colossus).

Right now, Embrace summons 3 patches of skeletal claws in 1 second. The first patch does basically nothing, a 30% snare and Minor Maim which is basically useless since the nerf, second patch roots and inflicts maim still not good enough for the 3.5k magicka the skill costs, last patch is the only worthwhile one as it's the only one that stuns and the one that is impossible to land against people fighting you.
My suggestion: Make all patches stun and deal moderate amounts of magic damage (about the same amount as Streak), take the Minor Maim away, and make the skill faster to deploy (something like 0.7-0.8 s instead of 1 second), second patch should inflict a snare on top of the stun and damage, third patch should either root on top of everything else or if it's too much just inflict a more intense snare.

My fix to this skill would simply to make each patch additive with the effects of the previous patch.

So the first one would snare, the second would snare and Immobilize, and the third would snare, Immobilize, and Stun. I would also increase the potency of the snare to at least 50% and perhaps up to 70%.

In PvP, this is effectively a skill-shot ability with very low odds of actually succeeding since opponents can see it coming from a mile away. So the payoff for actually landing it ought to be a whole big basket of CC and status ailments.

That said, I actually really like this ability on my Necromancer Tank. The area is enormous and it is easy to target mobs with the Immobilize and Stun since they don't dodge or otherwise evade as human players do. I find it much more useful than Turn Evil due to that skill's microscopic area of effect and high Stamina cost.

The problem with it is that you can't stun the enemy in a reliable range, you have to be a certain distance to stun them. What should happen is they should swap around the patch that stuns with the patch that snares. It makes more sense anyway, as it gets less powerful the further away it gets.

Honestly just this change would already make it a much better skill, basically a worse Mass Hysteria but functional at least.
I still think it should lose the worthless Minor Maim and deal damage at least, to help with the underwhelming magcro offense.
