Stamcro vs Stamden

Sorry for asking stupid questions beforehand.Everytime i get back to this game I cant decide what class to play. This time looking for a main kinda class to do everything. End goal would be pvp activities, soloing some content maybe, maybe trials. Not asking which class is better (in pve dps race only maybe), but what would you choose and why? I kinda like stamcro more, but it feels like he;s too much bound to corpse mechanic and i have to much skills on my backbar to keep up. While warden has good mobility, not that much skills to keep up, and feels more @free@ to play, since i dont have to worry about corpses or running away from them. Thanks in advance!

Both are a good choice. You can do pretty much anything better than other classes on them.

In my opinion, stamden is the best class overall. You can dps, tank, and even heal (yes, stamina heal) all with just a quick change of gear. Completely bonkers in PvP as well. I'd go for stamden in a heartbeat if I didn't have a templar with 32k achievement points.

After the recent nerfs to stamcros I'd say stamden is the better choice.
They scale better with tje procsets and malacath meta as well.
This is from a pvp perspective.

Stamina Warden was already stellar and they buffed it this patch with double shalks.

They also have a lot of % damage increases should you wish to join the proc set meta.

Disagree with the person above though. Necromancer, offensively, scales better with proc sets because all the popular ones are dots and Necromancer buffs those by 15%.

I think warden will outperform the 15% dot damage for every type of damage, more for frost/magic.

2% per animal companion skill on the bar. 5% minor vulnerability, 5% minor berserk - 14-16% right there.

    10% frost/magicka damage as well.

    Applies to everything.

The reality is that Wardens in pvp usually have max 3 animals slotted. Stamden would prefer poison sets or so that are unaffected by frost/magic damage.

Vulnerability is not exlusive either. Everyone with shock enchants can proc them. But I see what you mean.

    Perhaps you are right.
