How to make an official complaint?

Does anyone know how one can make an official complaint regarding, well, anything, but specifically regarding these forums. (Note, feedback is not a complaint).

Usually reputable companies have robust, simple and open complaints and review procedures. Other than submitting a ticket with pre-defined, often inappropriate categories, I cant see any way or any contact information for players to submit official complaints to. It is entirely possible I just cant find this (despite looking extensively and going round in circles), and I would very much appreciate a moderator or fellow player providing an explanation...

Even when a support ticket is submitted, and you receive a reply to your email inbox, it apparently comes from an unmonitored inbox, which I find unacceptable in a complaints process, otherwise how can the customer continue to communicate regarding their complaint?

I wont go into any details, but I had raised a ticket (as seemingly the only avenue available), then received a reply, which did not address what I was raising the ticket about and I therefore replied, in detail. This email received no acknowledgement, I waited for 2 weeks before forwarding a reminder to the same address... only to receive the reply this time - "unmonitored inbox, submit a ticket" and were back to square one.

All I want is contact details to make an official complaint and for that complaint to actually be dealt with by a human, who has the ability and capacity to read and deal with complaints properly... does such exist and if so where? And if not, what is the alternative, if any?

Thanks for reading and thanks for your help.

    Google eso complaint ticket

Simply submitting a ticket is not really what I want to do, I have tried that. Besides, none of the ticket options seems to relate to making an official complaint, they are all about specific issues.

If you need a response here in the forums, its usually best to include info like you Ticket #. A moderator might PM you or, more often, confirm your ticket is in the right place.

I just wonder what you want to officially complain about?- Anything regarding gameplay is futile, because with buying the game all you got is to be eligible to use the service as it is - ZOS doesn't have to fulfill any promises or even deliver a certain kind of service (reading the terms of service carefully). You basically can just complain about issues outside of gameplay, like if you purchased something and it didn't register or if there is a technical issue. So what is it actually, you want to complain about having even a chance to be worked on?

I have hesitated to provide information as I am trying to avoid this thread being shut down by a mod, for whatever reason.

The complaint directly relates to ESO forums, not game play.

Folk are suggesting submitting a ticket, but this is not a complaints process, its a support process with specific categories, none of which concern making an actual complaint. Quite apart from that, I already tried this route and got met with "Unmonitored inbox" when trying to discuss my complaint.

I do appreciate folk trying to help, hopefully a mod or a fellow forum goer will have some more salient answers in due course...

Ok, I see and I hope someone has an idea - my personal suggestion would be to just let go - for your own sake.

I think the game is in such a terrible state because "just let go" has been the majority mind set of the eso community.

if your complaint is purely about customer relations and product related, you could report them to BBB lol ZoS does not take 'complaints' serious and do not enforce their own ToS. Good luck in what you are seeking, it won't go anywhere.

His issue is not about the game - so it is really better for him to let go.

Then again not even the game is in a bad state - just a special part of the game is maybe, but I'm not encountering them being just a casual player with no intention to ever reach champion ranks. And for players like me the game has very little issues.

This game has more players with complaints than ESO staff can possibly handle. That is endemic to all successful games. While I am empathetic to your plight realize that actually getting through to someone may only lead to exponential levels of frustration. Best to go a quiet room, partake of a little primal scream therapy and realize that whatever it is, it is probably best to let it go.

Probably sound advice! But I do not like allowing injustices or poor customer service, to go unchallenged.

Another option, if the complaint doesn't involve a specific moderator, might be to PM a moderator to ask how to submit a general complaint or to ask the moderator to pass your complaint along to the appropriate people.

None of that is a guarantee of getting the results you want to happen, of course.

They do not like complaints that is why you do not find any forms or such.

They either ignore tickets or closed them randomly without any explanations etc.

Worst customer service I have seen in my gaming days. Yes, by far worse than ie. EA.

If you happen to find such a way than definately intrested in hearing about it.

If it makes you feel any better, I have had issues where I had to report players for breaking ToS (with video of the incidents) and while I received two responses thanking me for my report (which seemed automated) there are 0 views showing on the Analytics for the videos, which tells me support 1) doesn't care about ToS violations, 2) doesn't actually care about the tickets they answer.

I think PM a moderator, unless your complaint is against a moderator. In which case its a support ticket describing your complaint. Use the "Account" option and follow screen through to forum appeal. You could also go via Bethesdanet.

Hello @Grianasteri, the best way to lodge your complaint or appeal an action by a moderator would be to submit a ticket here. As you've said, you should not submit your ticket as feedback but instead choose Account > Your Platform > I need help with a forum account > Forum Appeal.

When you submit your ticket, you can post the ticket number here and we will ensure that it is in the correct place to receive a response.

Exploit = pm a community manger like Sarah.

Bug = there's a sub same on forum

Suggestion on something new = make a thread...
