Vateshran Boons gone?

Playing vateshran today on vet and I had to leave the arena to go and make some more weapon power pots for the final boss fight. When I came back to the arena all of my health and stamina boons were gone.

Is this a bug? This can’t be how the arena is supposed to work. I am or going through all that again in order to get these books back for the final boss fight which for melee needs every boon you can get because the fight is ridiculously tough.

From the November 5th hotfix:
"We just completed a hotfix to ensure the attribute bonuses associated with the Remnant buffs from Vateshran Hollows will not be applied to your character should you exit the zone, even in cases where the buff remains on your character sheet."

I'm assuming that means if you leave they're just gone for good.

So what I did to fix it was deleted the local save game files. I am on console. Loaded back in exited the arena and entered it again and they came back.

Of course my third attempt promptly crashed so I give up on this arena until the game is stable. That entire arena is a laggy, buggy mess on console. At least I’ve made it to the end. Maybe I will give it a shot again in a couple weeks. Or run my jabplar through. Just spam an pray it all works.

More like "buffs won't apply outside of the arena"

Just exit the game completely and log back in and they should reapply without needing to do whole dungeon

I played for a few days on my Stamplar trying to clear final boss (body blockers!!! )

My buffs disappeared from time to time, just logged out and back in again and they returned. Cleared it in the end. It's a bug, but not a permanent one. Hopefully patched today.

I think I’ve found that if u teleport out they drop, but if I run to the exit they don’t. That place is so buggy it’s hard to say.

The buffs should reapply once you enter the arena again. In some cases it seems to bug out though. I recommend restarting the arena.

I think this refers to when you are outside of the Vateshran Hollows arena. The reason they wrote this was because sometimes the buffs were still applied even after you left the arena.

Still same after the patch. Just gave up on the existing round I've had from before the downtime, no matter where I tried to relog, the buffs wouldn't return and I see no point in wasting even more time trying to beat this without them, while getting damage outside indicated areas etc.

I had to delete the local save game data from my console and relogin to the game. That seemed to fix it in the meantime. Also for what it’s worth when I ported out the first time I had no issues losing the boons, but when I walked out the front door and tried to port back in they were gone. So as of last night I managed on my own.
