Am I the only one, or what is wrong with stamina regen this patch?!?!?!?!

Why am I completely missing stamina recovery ticks in combat? Sometimes my stamina just gets frozen (usually at 0%-10% strangely) and NOTHING happens for good 4-6 seconds (a usual stamina tick is 2 seconds i believe) and i could be standing still/be CC'd or even spamming magicka skills (in other words NOT blocking, NOT dodging, NOT sprinting).

Am I the only one? Has this been reported? Why is nobody else talking about this??? This is wrecking my rotation in PVE and ruining my gameplay in PVP.

I haven't seen this recently but have in previous patches ever since they had the "UI bug" that would show you as having 0 recovery. Was supposedly only visual but many noted they felt it wasn't. I think they fixed the display of 0 recovery but probably missed whatever was causing people to just not regen.

I've felt that my stam is draining suspiciously fast lately, and it feels like my block will drop randomly and not go back up even if I'm holding the block button - kinda makes it hard to tank.

I haven't heard any official bug reports about things like this, but it is definitely making it hard and it started with the last patch. Don't have any solid data though.

We find magicka sustain a lot harder than usual, even though it should be a lot easier since they buffed major recovery buffs.

This could be an explaination, but I have not actively observed it yet.

Stam regen... I was in trials yesterday and it`s regen period. My regen on stamblade was getting drained and slow to regen, then I switched to my MagDK and it was still happening.

I have only ever experienced that in Maelstrom.

Last boss drains all your ressources and your recovery is 0.

It's pretty much GG at that point. You have to start over.

I died several times to Wyress Ursus in nMoS on a tank through block. I'd see the telegraph, I have an addon that counts down to it, I'd be looking at my character, seeing the semi-transparent shield overlay and everything. 38k damage.

Oh... I thought it was just me! My StamBlade is loosing stamina much faster and it takes forever to regenerate. That's a real pain when you're in a prolonged fight, against a WB, for example.

Maybe time to put that into the bug forum?

Yesterday, doing Lair of Marselok my stamina would also drain suspiciously fast. I was also running stamina regen food (which I usually don't need to) and we had a healer running symphony for sustain - yet I was having sustain issues. Something felt off, but I didn't understand what.

Strangely, running the same dungeon today - no healer, no stamina regen food - I had no issues at all!

Just another one of the broken things in this game.. At this point I can't even tell when something is broken vs. working as intended..

I had this stam bug while fighting the Minotaur boss in Vateshran. That plus the insta-death on grappling up to his platform made me get very close to ragequitting.

Good point on the quick drain. That seems to be happening to me as well. It's like I have Max vampire ability cost even though I'm not a vampire at all LOL.

Oh good it wasn't just me. I was in IC on my stamblade last night doing my rounds on the dailies and was constantly having to wait between fights to let my stam regenerate. I figured I was just just being neglagent because I was in a hurry to finish, but then I do this every week and I always rush through it and my sustain has never been an issue.

Hopefully whatever this is gets fixed it was pretty annoying.

It freezes sometimes in cyrodiil. Easiest way to test is, mount up and hit rapids, and note that sometimes it doesn't recover for like 5-10 seconds. Note that if it happens in combat, changing weapons seems to kickstart it again, but I really wish that would fix this was happening before the Reach patch, since the last one before that.

Mag regen is also terrible. I was trying to run dailies and I actually had to stop from pulling the next set of adds because my mag was still at like 30%.

Also, from what we could tell, Symphony of Blades no longer works at all. Our healer tried it and I put it on my tank and tried it with echoing vigor, both in and out of combat. It just doesn't activate anymore.

It is true, something is wrong with stamina regen. I just started playing my old stamina warden this patch again and wondered how stam is always out with the netch and rally and bloodspawn and hulking set. I thought just like, must change mundus to regen also... Then i played a bit on my regular stamblade and realized stam regen is totally bugged

Regen mundus didn't work on pts, not sure if that ended up in live. Something is definitely messed up with regen. Major endurance/intellect got buffed this patch so if anything sustain should be better than before.

On the dummy I have sustain for days on my Stamden, barely dropping to 75%. When I’m running vet Vatershran though it seems hit or miss. I can get through a couple phases and my stam is fine and then suddenly I don’t seem to have any. This is kind of how vet maelstrom was going pre patch though so I don’t know that it is really any different.

For me I have felt like break free takes longer and costs more on both stam and mag toons. There is something off for sure.

Throwing in another one for Stamplar and horrendous stamina regen and running out extremely fast. This occurs only in dungeons though, the difference in and out of them is very noticeable.

Saw it in trials today with bowblade stamina regen in combat. Did the same trial a few weeks ago and had zero issues with a less practiced team (longer time to kill bosses).

The stam regen has also been an issue on PS4 NA in the Grey Host campaign and at least a couple of us did post in the bug reports category here in the forums. I had it happen to me twice a few weeks ago and had to restart the game to fix it.

My magicka regen has been pretty poor. Even my gf commented that she was running out of magicka fast. I thought it was just me, but a fair amount of folks I have talked notice the same.

Not just this patch, last one also.

In Cyrodiil sometimes my stam just gets stuck, and wont regen. Sometimes this bug is removed by using skills or some form of movement or switching bar, but often it persists for a frustrating length of time, the only way to recover stam is potions.

You can even check the character screen when this bug there, and your stam regen shows as zero.

Ive had to log out then back in to get rid of it before, and that seems to work.

Or perhaps the OP is discussing something different...

I have noticed my Stam has been harder to manage this patch but I thought nothing of it but if others are having this problem too it must be another bug ZOS has introduced with this patch.

An issue I've been having is when my stam bar is empty none of my magic skills work on my magplar. Everything is fine unless I empty my stam bar running etc. The only way i can use those skills again is to fire off a light attack, but even those aren't working properly in this patch. My magic bar is full in case someone asks about that.

I've possibly had some issues with this.

During the Witches Festival I was able to solo Valanir's Rest on my PC EU main-- first attempt went horribly amiss, but second (or perhaps third?) attempt the next day was successful, albeit very difficult for my main to pull off due to chosen weapon (2H axe) and lack of slotted AOE abilities or burst heals.

Last night I was on my way to Reman's Bluff and Redfur Trading Post. (I'm finally working on completing Grahtwood as part of Cadwell's Silver on my PC EU main.) As I was passing by Valanir's Rest, I saw a few nodes and tried to harvest them, getting too close to Valanir the Restless and Valanir's Shield in the process.

Another player was passing by, saw me being attacked by them, and apparently thought I was fighting them, so she(?) jumped into the fray. At that point I felt obligated to help her, so I started attacking Valanir's Shield while trying to stay clear of Valanir the Restless, since the only way I'd been able to solo them was to tackle them one at a time.

The terrain there is horrible-- I swear it's deliberately designed to make you get caught and stuck on small rocks and other obstacles-- so I had to struggle to avoid every tiny pebble and twig while attempting to roll-dodge and break free. It seemed like my Stamina quickly dropped to 0, or near 0, and was taking its gosh darn sweet time recovering.

Needless to say, both of us kept getting killed, so the other player finally gave it up as a lost cause and ran off, and I resumed on my not-so-merry way to Reman's Bluff.
