Hey,
procs are not supposed to proc procs. However, with procs causing poison damage this happens:
Let's look at Syvarra's Scales:
5 items: When you deal damage, you cause a burst of lamia poison that deals 1000 Poison Damage in a 5 meter radius and an additional 10380 Poison Damage over 6 seconds to all enemies hit. This effect can occur once every 7 seconds.
So we get Poison Damage over 6 seconds. This Poison Damage from Syvarra isn't able to proc another proc. However, it seems to me it can proc the Poisoned status effect. The poison status effect itself is a DOT, and as it is not a proc, it can CRIT. You get Syvarra, you get its proc, you get the poisoned status effect... When the poison status effect is running after the Syvarra effect ended its cooldown, it can proc Syvarra again, without getting a new hit from the enemy (as he is hitting with the poison status effect). Now poison status effect can crit, so it can even cause Venomous Smite to proc: (5 items) Dealing Critical Damage inflicts Hunter's Venom on your enemy for 10 seconds, dealing 2241 Poison Damage to your target and enemies within 6 meters of them every 1 second. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.
So effectly you can use a proc to cause a status effect, which itself can proc procs again...
Is my understanding of this mechanic correct and what do you think of it?
