Hi,

I'm looking for Sorcerer Healer builds. Do you know any up to date ones?

For what content? What are your tanks wearing? Are you supporting stam or mag dds? Is it for pug? How much damage are you willing to deal? Etc etc.

The post above mine is correct, @ad4mss ... you'll have to give us a bit more detail on the type of content you most enjoy.

    Hi!

I heal almost exclusively in Groupfinder dungeon PUGs. My choices include:

    1. The Twilight Matriarch heal excels in that kind of setting.
    2. Healers are supposed to bring Minor Magickasteal. I've been using Siphon Spirit for a while over Elemental Drain, because I assume Major Breach will come from elsewhere -- all the more now that Breach/Fracture have been combined -- but that's a debatable choic.
    3. Healers are supposed to bring Orb. I use whatever morph I have, based on what else the character does.
    4. Since my sorcerers all have Critical Surge, Power Surge is not available as a healing choice.
    5. I've been ambivalent about running Combat Prayer in disorganized dungeon groups. Now that Minor Berserk has been nerfed, I lean further against it.
    6. Running SPC or Olorime is expected. I have SPC only, so that's what I run. So a HoT is mandatory. I rely on Radiating Regeneration.
    7. I bought Earthgore long ago. Despite all the nerfs, it's what I run as a healer almost exclusively. (Note that I always have HoTs ticking.)
    8. I don't bother coordinating Warhorns with PUG tanks. Ultimates I use include the Atronach (but Major Berserk has now been nerfed), the destro ultimate (less often), and the resto ultimate (Warhorn-like morph, despite what I said about Warhorn).
    9. I'd really like to make room for two spammables: Crushing Shock, because the random interrupts from that are a good thing for a healer to bring, and Frags, because of the passive. I don't always succeed.
    10. I've been running a lightning staff and a Wall of Elements morph. Often the staff is Charged with a shock enchant. This is for the usual Concussion/Off-Balance reasons. I havent looked into Frost/Brittle yet.
    11. I almost never run Illustrious Healing in dungeons. I do sometimes take the Winter's Respite set.
    12. I'm happy to make room for Lightning Flood/Liquid Lightning, which isn't bad damage for the group if somebody uses a synergy and ... well, it gives a synergy.
    13. I often run Infused Weakening enchants for a while, without really coordinating with PUG tanks I'm not sure whether this is a good idea.
    14. I'm interested in running Hollowfang, but haven't farmed it yet.
    15. I sometimes run a Maelstrom Resto staff. Since I don't have a Maelstrom Lightning staff yet, I haven't seriously considered that option.
    16. I've never tried running Martial Knowledge.

If you mean up to date as in tailored for Markarth patch. Then No. Healers are becoming more and more irrelevant to organised groups anyways. They kind of amalgamate with Tanks these days. Sorcerer is generally wanted for damage and not healing. So if you enjoy a PUG or two, you should prep for damage dealing as well as healing. If you run with guilds or other organised groups they will tell you anyways what they want of you. Healer are wanted as Buff Bots in ESO, sadly.

I found my old setup is still good and can heal all basic Veteran Dungeons, with a minimum of 20k DPS. I neither ran it in Trials, nor do i own many DLCs. So no idea there. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Special:EsoBuildData?id=290714

If you want to make a setup yourself, just follow these rules:
1 One HoT and one Burst heal on frontbar.
2 High Sustain: 2000 recovery minimum plus bonus through skills/passives and Food/Drink or potions as needed (I like cost reduction)
3 Group utility for Damage and Sustain: so something like Spell Power Cure, ELE Drain or Sentinel of Rkugamz are good base game options and comparatively easy to get and use
4 2 DoTs on the Backbar minimum, 3 with a flex spot
5 Ignore Armor: run, dodge and block instead
6 Run on a budget as default: use Spell Power Potions or Sugerskulls or Witchmother Brew only when neccessary

I would also counsel against Flappy, the flying Mother of a Tanks Sorrow. After the change to the calculation of the pets heal, it is just not worth it anymore, when you consider strength of the heal against its cost (4590 magicka plus two skillslots for 11k heal for 2 targets, in my case).

If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

I'm sorry I forgot to mention for what I would need such build. I have recently switched from PvP to PvE and would like to run vDungeons, Trial (firstly with PUG's to have some overview, later with pre-made group).
