Bosmer fire or brazier furnishing

What do you use for Green Pact friendly cook fires for Bosmer dwellings? Right now I have a campfire on the Wood Elf Hearth and tell myself it could be found wood, which would be fine if I understand the lore correctly, and yet, it is noticeable that none of the Bosmer fires contain visible pieces of wood. So I’ve been searching to see if there might be a more authentic looking options. None of the fires will do and most of the braziers have spikes or other such things that would still protrude after sinking the brazier into the hearth stone. It can be difficult to tell from looking at the images by themselves, but it looks like the Murkmire Brazier, Engraved might work, if I can find the furnishing...

Thoughts and suggestions welcome!

By coincidence, I've just been working on a little bosmer fireplace/ kitchen, if it helps at all: - dbm43tkyyclv.png

I used Fires of the Wilderking, 4,000g, Court Ranger, MARBRUK – GREENSHADE, in the fireplace. Seemed Bosmer appropriate.

That is quite lovely and great use of the Telvanni furnishings!

Bosmer appropriate, yes, but the blue flame generally denotes magic rather than a natural fire. Although I could use that unlit with another item sunk below to provide the actual fire... That should be just right and less expensive than the Engraved Murkmire Brazier!

Yes, I am being particular, but there’s size as well as overall style and I am often trying for a specific look, which in this case is simply to emulate the in-game Bosmer homes!

There is the Valenwood Brazier achievement furnishing from Grahtwood

The closest we get to the wood elf fires (Which we can see in game) are things like the Valenwood Brazier @ixie has already mentioned and a sunken down Murkmire Brazier.

I suppose you can use wood-elf-censer-hanging, if you are desperate and/or want a hanging smaller one.

Another option is to use the Dark Elf Bed of Coals, this can be purchased from guild traders, or a cheaper option is to buy Kragenhome in Stonefalls for 69k gold as it comes with a bed of coals

Looks nice, but it's not very bosmeri with all that dead looking wood, fabric and books.

It is the inside of a live tree, and my bosmer reads books.

I think the Telvanni furnishings can be used well as organic living furnishings, brought into being from the tree itself, even as the pods are. We have so very few Bosmer furnishings at all, much less more beautiful ones like the Bosmer throne.

As for the rest, my understanding is that the Green Pact does not have prohibitions on materials from elsewhere so it would be quite natural to trade with their neighbors and allies. :)

For my Snugpod, I am for the most part trying to to achieve a more basic Bosmer look and so have been frustrated not to find a small cooking fire as seen on the Snugpod loading screen and throughout Valenwood. I am certain that the Valenwood brazier would be too large for my purposes, but the Wilderking one might work if I change the color of the flames.

That looks very beautiful! Is it the Bouldertree Refuge?

Ahh, that would explain the stairs outside, which I was wondering about! Very nice conversion and something I will keep in mind as I get closer to acquiring most of the Elven homes as well! :joy: (The exception for me being several of the Altmer continental style homes as the architecture feels cramped to me and I find them difficult to work with. Oh what I wouldn’t give for an open plot like Moonsugar meadow, but in Summerset or Auridon! )

If I could I would just buy Moonsugar Meadow X10. It is full custom btw- the actual house is hidden somewhere behind it.

I know, right? It has taken me longer to start a grand build on it because I had difficulty deciding which of many possibilities to commit to! :joy: But even as I’ve decided to keep and further develop the Elsweyr feel, it would be lovely to have other properties that emphasize the various beauty found elsewhere (silly pun intended, hehe). Many times while adventuring while adventuring, recently in the glen of Caanerin, I have admired the beauty around me and thought, this right here is perfect, let me have a plot like this to play in!

Oh wow, that’s fully custom? I am all-the-more impressed! I don’t think I’ve looked at the Argonian properties but I was imagining that the mud interior could appear as the ground under the tree (we need dangling root furnishings as seen in delves and under most ledges in the open world) but I see now yours looks quite different and unique! :) What did you build it from? I would like to come by and visit your homes if I may — I play on PC NA but I created a lowbie tourist in PC EU!

Feel free, they're on EHT. It kinda becomes apparent when you look at it how it was built, but Elsweyr rubble lined with mushrooms.

For anyone interested, this is how several fire and brazier options look on the Wood Elf Hearth in Snugpod:

    The campfire I had:
    VHQsnQr.png

The Valenwood brazier (Grahtwood achievement vendor) is rather large for my purpose here:
    JFeYtYp.png

The Wilderking brazier (Greenwood achievement vendor) looks very cool, but definitely not a cooking fire!
    RRiYqAB.png

The Wilderking brazier, unlit, with 6 buried torches (you can see that the brazier retains the blue hue):
    f9kt9yu.png

A buried Witches' brazier -- this has to be placed just so in the hearth to not expose any of the base while not clipping any of the brazier dish or alternatively, stones or cookware could be placed about to conceal this:
    zftDL0A.png

Hmmm, several options are not bad, but I might hunt down that Murkmire Brazier, Engraved to see how it looks...

Pathetic that the Bosmer style provisioning station that already exists in the game (not only in the splash screen before you load into the Snugpod, but also out in the world in Grahtwood and Greenshade) is not available as a furnishing to be bought or crafted.
Taking stealth away from the Bosmer is like taking magic away from the Altmer, making Nords allergic to mead, or making Orcs pretty.

I used the Hagraven Cauldron from the Witches Festival in my Snugpod. Slap that sucker in the middle and EVERYTHING is illuminated in a Super Bright Green tone.

And fun fact! It's identical to the Wood Elf Cauldron Furnishing, except it has an added magic green flame!

    https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/wood-elf-cauldron-stone/

I'd say it's Green Pact friendly.

I couldn’t agree more and do wish we had access to all the furnishing and structural items that already exist in game! A Bosmer provisioning station would be a great addition.

That’s cool — I’d love to see some screenshots of your Snugpod! For my purposes, I wanted a regular fire of appropriate size for cooking and decided to go with the Witches’ brazier sunken into my Wood Elf Hearth as I liked it best of all options I tried for the overall look and amount of light given out.
