Error 100

On Sunday I got Error 100 for the first time, it seemed to remedy itself in a few hours when I checked later, however I just got this error again today and I'm supposed to be doing a trial right now but cant log in due to this error.
I have never seen this error before in the 5 years playing before this past Sunday.
The error states
Error 100
Timeout while waiting for the realm directory service.
Does anyone have any insight into this?
Perhaps how to remedy this issue?
Missing a trial I signed up for when I'm support can essentially screw over 11 others if they can't find a quick replacement and I really can't have that occurring often.
This occurred on ps4 NA
