Just some pictures to show the table location for the Pale Order’s Golden Band. I did not see this in a search, so I thought I would put it here.

This has to be the worst lead ever. I don't get why it's not instanced, there's a bunch of players camping it, and it's very frustrating.

There's also a bug with the lead if you've already finished the ring once, but want to complete the codexes. It won't appear for you, but it will appear for others on the table - even when using a different character. You can find the other leads just fine, however you'll be forever at 9/15 in the codex entry until they fix this.

As for why they didn't instance it, I have no idea, but I feel like if that happened I would've never found that this was happening in the first place, which I suppose is one good thing to come out of it.

Agreed. I was waiting for it by myself, another player comes along with ads tgat he taunted which I got caught combat with.

Killed them before lead spawned but other player took as either they pressed E (the use key) quicker or it was due to lag (I'm in Australia which doesn't help).

So I decided to just spam E if someone else showed up before even the lead appeared but it did & fortunately no one else came.

well I went by that table on my first time through the quest but nothing for me. I bet someone else grabbed my lead...

Went there and I have found nothing. No lead, no scroll to read. Later on I asked some players and some one told me that it works more or less in a same way as delve boss - if a new player enters delve in triggers boss to re-spawn. But in this case it triggers "Ancient Text" that contains the lead.

I ended up spamming "E" on to an empty place on a desk where "Ancient Text" should appear. Eventually I got it.

I don't know why it is designed this way (Very bad & frustrating design imho). It should be changed to be instanced...

...Because camping this scroll & spamming "E" button and hoping to be the 1st one who server will register is just... idk even know what to call it... evil ? It feels like the one who coded it simply did not predict what will happen. It an extreme case it may even cause the instance to crash because of too many players trying to get it (same as people camping world bosses in Wrothgar that is mentioned in guide for the Ring of the Pale Order lead). Not to mention it triggers other people who are trying to get it and they get ultra-frustrated & toxic towards other players, when some one will "ninja" it (kinda like stealing from them).

I I were to give some feedback I would say that it feels like the bolted text mentioned earlier. Additionally - I felt no satisfaction when I got it. You know, every time I kill a boss & finally get a lead I feel this "Yeah !" satisfactory feeling. That I have done it. But there is nothing satisfactory about spamming "E" and hoping for the best.

Just go there and wait. It does work like a boss delve now, but I went there twice and there is nobody or just one or two people there. Yesterday there were 20+.

Wait a bit for the scroll. It is the least annoying lead now to get, at least off busy hours.

I got mine during the late hours. There was no one at the table, it was grab and go for me. This is what spurred me on to make this thread because I had no clue what table it was one. I just clicked on every table that had a book or letter. I was surprised when it was the lead, I did not expect it.
