UI Bug

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue... but I am frequently getting a UI bug. It seems to occur when I go to open my journal, usually right after digging up an antiquity. It's fairly serious as well because I have to close down the game (through my task manager) to recover from it.

I've also had UI issues after digging up antiquities. I don't get the UI error though (because I have the Bugcatcher add-on that blocks them). I can't see the map, settings, or use any skills so I have to restart the game entirely.

Thanks for the tip but I don't use any addons. So I don't think that's what could be causing it.

I'm having the same problem, I was in Artaeum and managed to dig around 40 treasures without any problem.

Suddenly it appeared, and happened consecutively as well...so from 40 treasures in a row to 2-3 at best with the problem appearing.
Thankfully I have an addon, Advanced UI, which allows me to bind a key to the Reload UI function, because I can't access any menu and I'm basically frozen.

So yep, after the first two times that I got stuck and had to close the game (and wait a ton of time to reenter) I've found a workaround, as always addons make the game better (and fix its problems).

Did it start happening to you once you got blue treasures?
That was for me, 40ish normal treasures but at the 3rd 4th blue I started to have it.
And I tried without addons as well, but now I'm happy that I have them :'D

It started happening to me after The Reach was released while taking advantage of the new improvements to the Scrying Interface to clean up my active leads. It was mostly purple and yellow antiquities, but there might have been a a few blue ones mixed in there too. I can't remember for sure.

I haven't had it happen to me during the last couple of days. But that might just be because I haven't been doing a lot of digging.

I'll just check whether it happens after digging a blue/purple/gold treasure.
Maybe it's related to how they get relisted in the journal (since the green ones don't need any lead and always stay there).

To me it started happening once I've unlocked higher treasures that require a lead, I just started digging and it's rather happy

That sounds like a good theory and could very well be it. That would explain why the bug always happened to me as I opened my journal.

Happens pretty consistently after choosing to wiew the journal entry of completed antiquity dig ever since the update. Not using any addons. Also getting repeatedly asked if i'm sure i want to leave uncompleted dig site even while not trying to leave. Looks like update broke something there.

Yeah that's been happening to me also. It will just ask me out of the blue if I want to abandon the dig.
