Dormant Defeat Achievement bug?

I've killed this boss several times and no matter how I kill her, keeping iron atros away, not killing them, letting her spawn multiple volcanos. It never seems to give me the achievement. Unsure if you guys have had success getting it but it's just not working for me at this time. Please share info if you have any.
