Battlegrounds Deathmatch Mode?

I can't select the mode i want to play. I do not want to play silly chaosball or other modes. Is this a bug or intended? There are only two options random and solo random

this is the most unthough intended desision made by zos.

They should just put Deathmatch only for the group que at least, since when pre mading we want just pvp not stupid objectives..

At least when you are in a group you can play the objectives but there is nothing more annoying to play a mode with objectives and your teammates do not do them.

It just means more people will play objective like deathmatch

It's intended.

I'm in the opposite boat, because I liked queuing up for the modes besides Deathmatch (I hate that one).

Their logic was it needed be done in order to keep a healthy queue in place after separating the system into solo and group modes. And they may be right. The battleground population does seem to be pretty low lately.

battlegrounds are broken anyway. group not getting in the same bg or not all the members get the q pop, and people are crashing left and right
