Did they happen to tie any achievements to the sticker book at all? I know that the lack of achievements was a complaining point with antiquities/codex entries that some completionists felt could have added some value.

(On console so I have to wait two weeks to see for myself.)

Giving completionists more to do are you, @Feric51?? ;)

There are no achievements tied to the "sticker book" ... it's stand-alone.

But, maybe a candidate for future enhancement.

Sticker book is the best new function in 2020!
It frees up both bank space and carrying slots.

I can also easily know which items I already have and where did it come from.

    Nice!

Well you aren't thinking of it very well. While it is obviously smart to keep hold of all the pieces you will use, it isn't really economical to keep hold of all the pieces you may use. Then if you can free up your inventory for more useful things by just destroying others then it is worth the slight hassle to get some crystals to get the piece back if you ever did want to use it.

    Sooo much inventory space now

Not really, i still have some 15 full sets of gear that are already in the correct trait and quality, ready to be used.
I'm not going to deconstruct/sell any of those just to clear up some storage space.

Meaning, my 4 mule characters still have a purpose in their digital life.

Are all of the sets that you are saving sets that you will actually use? If they are, are they in the right traits? You need to think of it in the way that the developers did when putting it together for us. We all have gear drop, but it usually isn't in the trait that we want. Or, we may be saving sets that we might use at some point in the future, but the character that we play with right now won't use. There's no point in keeping that gear in your bank taking up space. I mean, it's your bank, and your game, and you can play it however you want. But I think you are not seeing the big picture.

Yes, but if you do want to reconstruct those sets you will need a ton of purple improvement mats to do so, in addition to the transmute stones.

That is what is holding me back from all those sets I have obtained.

Agree. There is so much stuff which was farmed earlier in correct traits or was transmuted, no point deconing them. And as a PvP main, that means you have a lot of *** which never will become prob a mainstream PvE setup but with every patch, some trash set from b4 may become new meta in PvP...
My mules get to live longer too...for now.

It depends. If those items only drop in Purple quality as their minimum (perfected weapons/jewelry/gear from trials/arenas), then they will be re-constructed at purple quality and will only require the transmute crystals.

If they do drop in blue (most dungeon sets/non-perfected trial sets/etc.) then, yes, it will require purple mats (that said, for clothing in particular, purple mats are cheap, blacksmithing a little more expensive, and woodworking more still, and jewelry, yes, don't decon purple jewelry, unless lowest quality is purple)

Ha, I have only a few trial pieces so almost everything would have to be improved.

I’ve gotten more involved in housing so that eats up a lot of my purple mats as well.

Doing random normals or doing PVP reward levels are two very different types of game play to earn lots of transmute crystals.

I love the change, especially for inventory space and mythic items. I have several characters I only log for daily crafting writs, even those have a Ring of the Wild Hunt now.

Absolutely love the new sticker book collection system and all the bank space it has given me.

Before I only did daily writs on a few characters at most each day. Now I can craft 6 days at a time and probably more on some characters and have bag space left over to do dungeons and quest.

So much easier to just visit the writ boards and run to turn in the drop off boxes. Rather then having to stop at each crafting station.

Another great plus is the ability to make gear and not have to regrind certain items over and over. i.e. Arena weapons, Mythical items. Still doing the same content but now enjoying it for what it is and nothing wishing/worrying if I am going to get a prized drop again.

    Real game changer for sure.

Be safe and have fun :)
